Mitsus Blue Domes Resort & Spa resembles a mega resort, with an extensive list of features and beachfront location. The lobby is a large open space with floor-to-ceiling glass entryway, exposed wooden beams, marble floors, several low-hanging chandeliers, and a few scattered casual seating spots. The grounds are massive: beautifully landscaped gardens, tall palm trees, cobblestone pathways, and a large swimming pool in the center of the resort. The main swimming pool is made up of eight separate large pools and six smaller sharing pools on various levels which are surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. The numerous restaurants and bars each have their own design. The four a la carte restaurants are set on the beach, while the others are located along the swimming pools.  Overall, the atmosphere is lively with a constant buzz of action. Guests here are mostly couples and family travelers.

Mitsis Blue Domes Resort & Spa is located on a hillside in Kardamena on the island of Kos, with stunning views overlooking the Aegean sea. There's nothing in the way of dining or shopping within walking distance from the hotel, though guests have little reason to leave the property due to the ample features and dining opportunities available on-site. The beach is a minute walk from the hotel -- with sun loungers, parasols, beach bar, and water sports on offer. Kardamena Town, with several restaurants, bars, nightlife, and shops is 10 minutes by car. Travelers can get around the island via cabs or in their own car (free on-site parking is available). It's a 17-minute drive to the Kos International Airport and 45-minute drive to the main port.

The 449 guest rooms at Mitsis Blue Domes Resort & Spa are modern and classic with clean and well-maintained interiors. The various room categories feature a similar look with a neutral color-scheme, marble floors, wooden furniture, wooden ceilings, wooden window shutters with white curtains, and white linens. Decor is kept to a minimum, with simple vinyls on the walls and seashell artwork. Selected rooms have sea views from their balconies. Private plunge pools are available in selected Standard Rooms as well as in the Villas. The Family Rooms and Maisonettes include two bedrooms and cater for up to four guests. Amenities in all rooms include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, minibars, tea- and- coffee-making facilities, telephones, desks, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include either shower/tub combos or separate walk-in showers and tubs. Magnifying mirrors, hairdryers, Olivia toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers are provided. 

There is no shortage of features at Mitsis Blue Domes Resort & Spa, and most are included in the all-inclusive rates. For food, there are four a la carte restaurants serving Greek, Italian, Asian, and Mexican cuisines. Six other all-day restaurants, including a show-style buffet, as well as six bars, include a pool bar and beach bar. Room service is available. 

The main outdoor swimming pool is 650 meters long, made up of eight large pools and six smaller sharing pools. The spa, Sapphire, offers a range of treatments as well as indoor swimming pool and hot tub. A small fitness center is available in the spa, but it requires a booking in advance.

The hotel offers various sports activities for free, including tennis courts, pedal boats, water polo, beach volleyball, gymnastics, and waterslides. Water sports, horse-riding, and go-karting are available at an extra fee. There is a daily entertainment program, including theater, an animation team, and karaoke nights. For kids, there is a shallow pool, indoor and outdoor playground, animation program, disco, Junior Club, and game room. 

The conference facility caters for up to 400 guests. Wi-Fi throughout the hotel and on-site parking are free. Additional features include babysitting services, business services, laundry and dry cleaning, luggage storage, and a mini-market.
