Dove Creek Lodge sits right along the water's edge and travelers who rent boats will have access to a number of restaurants and beaches located on the water throughout the Keys. Most guests staying at the hotel will need access to a car in order to travel to restaurants, beaches, and tourists attractions such as the Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center (about one mile away) and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park (around eight miles away). Besides Snappers, the hotel’s own restaurant, there aren’t dining options located within walking distance.

Two-bedroom suites have the most space, full kitchens, and incredible water views
Rooms have been completely updated with tile floors, cottage-style furnishings, and walls painted in tropical shades of yellow, green, and melon. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. There are Tommy Bahama bath products in the bathrooms. Some rooms have screened-in patios with water views, while others overlook the hotel grounds. Upgrade to a Two-Bedroom Luxury Suite suites for a full kitchen, living room, two bathrooms, a separate upstairs bedroom, and a terrace with panoramic views of the water.

The free, daily breakfast includes fresh fruits, danishes, coffee, bagels, and yogurt. There’s a sandy area next to the marina that provides a beach area, but it isn’t really suitable for swimming. Kayaks, paddle boats, and pontoon boats are available for rent on-site.
