Achtis Hotel

The Achtis Hotel is an elegant boutique property with natural stone and wood construction and views of Toroneos Gulf and Afitos village. The warm, helpful family owners earn consistent praise from guests and many return year after year. A charming tan-brick entrance features greenery and flowering plants and double wooden doors. Inside, the lobby's palette of soft green, beige, and yellow sets a calming tone. Small sculptures, brick accent walls, and circular windows make the space feel special. Guest rooms are situated in buildings around the pool, where peacocks can be seen strolling around. Beautiful gardens throughout the quiet grounds feature fish ponds and space for relaxing. Ivy-covered wooden railings and terraces sheltered by white curtains lend a romantic vibe. Most guests are couples, along with some families with young children. 

This property is well-located within five minutes' walk of the small historic village of Afitos. The village is on a hilltop overlooking Toroneos Gulf. There are restaurants, bars, and cafes in the village, as well as charming little squares, cobblestone streets, and traditional taverns. There are also a Folklore Museum (six-minute walk), the church of St. Demetrius in the central square (five-minute walk), and Afitos Beach (eight-minute walk). Several beach bars offer sunbeds to rent. Kallithea, which offers livelier nightlife, is a six-minute drive from the hotel. Access to the hotel is via a main road, but the grounds are set back and quiet. Thessaloniki Airport is about an hour to 90 minutes away by car. 

Rooms are spotlessly clean and individually decorated in a polished modern style with traditional touches. Swarovski chandeliers, antique wardrobes, and ornate mirrors make the rooms feel elegant and plush. Some rooms have brick accent walls or chic brocade-pattern wallpaper. Flat-screen TVs, safes, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, and kettles are provided. Each room also has a balcony or terrace with views of the pool or the sea. Bathrooms have shower/tub combos or showers done in high-quality beige tile. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Family Rooms each have a double bed and two sofabeds. The highlight feature at the hotel is the beautiful central pool surrounded by palm trees and plenty of sunbeds. A covered poolside bar and thatched umbrellas offer shade from the sun. The on-site restaurant serves a free buffet breakfast that includes homemade cakes. Guests can eat outside by the pool.
