The Beaches Sandy Bay Resort has one of best beaches in Jamaica, with golden sand, swimmable waters and few vendors. It offers clean, comfortable rooms, average food, and tons of kid and teen facilities. In short, it's smaller, cheaper and more low-key than nearby Beaches Negril.

Location

Prime location on Seven Mile Beach, a 75-minute drive from the Montego Bay Airport

The hotel is along Norman Manley Boulevard, with a prime location in the middle of Negril's Seven Mile Beach. Downtown Negril, located a 10-minute drive away, has a large bank, a Burger King, a pharmacy, and not much else. The sights of the West End Cliffs are 5-10 minutes further.

The hotel has 128 rooms, all with basic Caribbean decor. Guests can choose from nine different room types, some large enough for families and small groups. Technologies are in need of an update.
