A common thread throughout all Trident hotels is elegant and sophisticated interiors, and Trident, Nariman Point is no different. Living up to its brand name, the Trident, Nariman Point makes a grand first impression with a whopping 35 floors right on Marina Drive. Guests are welcomed into the lobby with the soothing sounds being played from the central grand piano. Several seating areas for guests feature plush upholstered sofas and chairs, surrounded by relaxing water features and full-size indoor trees. The dining areas are each individually designed according to their theme, such as the Asian-inspired decor in the India Jones restaurant. The focus here is on both leisure and business travelers, with suitable features for both. 

Located on the shores of Back Bay, this hotel sits right in the business district of Nariman Point on the famous Marine Drive (also known as the Queen's Necklace). Several restaurants, bars, art galleries, museums, shops, and fashion boutiques are within a short walking distance from the hotel. There's a bus stop about a two-minute walk from the hotel and cabs are easy to get hold of on Marine Drive. It's a five-minute drive to Wankhede Stadium, a seven-minute drive to Chowpatty Beach, and a 12-minute drive to the Gateway of India arch. Other popular attractions in the city include: Elephant Caves (12-minute drive to the port where the ferries start), the Prince of Wales Museum (12-minute drive), Mani Bhavan (15-minute drive), Crawford Market (20-minute drive), and Haji Ali Mosque (30-minute drive). Mumbai Central Railway Station is a 30-minute drive and the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is just under an hour by car.

The 555 guest rooms at Trident, Nariman Point are spacious and modern. Decor is clean and sophisticated; expect wooden floors and furniture, a neutral color-scheme, and contemporary artwork. The higher-end rooms and suites feature a warmer atmosphere, with a mostly brown and beige color scheme with colorful rugs, throw cushions, and artwork. Higher-end rooms and suites also have access to 24-hour butler service. Amenities in all rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, free water, tea- and- coffee-making facilities, desks, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include either walk-in showers or shower/tub combos, along with hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and Kama toiletries. Note that bathrooms are separated by rooms with floor-to-ceiling glass, slightly restricting privacy. The 35-story building offers spectacular views, with selected rooms overlooking the Arabian Sea and famous Marine Drive.

This hotel offers a wide range of features, though perhaps the most well-liked aspect (according to previous guests) is the dining program. Starting off with the 24-hour Verandah which serves a buffet breakfast (though not included in all room rates) and casual meals followed by Mediterranean cuisine served at Frangipani restaurant, and Southeast-Asian and Japanese cuisine at India Jones. Opium Den is open for afternoon and evening drinks. There's a large outdoor swimming pool with a few surrounding sun loungers. Additional wellness features include a fitness center with cardio and weight-training equipment, along with the Trident Spa which offers a range of beauty and relaxation treatments using both Eastern and Western techniques. There's also a 24-hour business center along with conference, meeting, and event facilities. On-site parking and Wi-Fi throughout the property are free.
