Designed around the theme of the Mysore Palace, The Leela Palace Bengaluru is extravagant in all regards, from the grand, light pink exterior with beautiful lush gardens to the luxurious interiors with vintage designs inspired by Indian tradition and culture. All of the restaurants feature their own design and decor, each as beautiful as the rest of the hotel. Nearly all of the restaurants offer al fresco seating. The swimming pool is surrounded by lush tropical gardens as well as ample parasols and sun loungers. Situated on Old Airport Road, The Leela Palace Bengaluru is surrounded by businesses and a hospital. The Leela Galleria shopping arcade, with several high end boutiques and a handful of restaurants, is located right behind the hotel. It's a 10-minute drive to the KGA Golf Course. The popular Indiranagar area with ample restaurants, bars, and shops is a seven-minute drive. The Koramangala area is just over 15 minutes by car. Cubbon Park, Commercial Street (the city's shopping hub), the National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru Palace, and Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium are all within a 30-minute drive from the hotel (depending on traffic). Bengaluru City Junction Railway Station is about a 45-minute drive from the hotel. Getting to Kempegowda International Airport takes at least an hour by car, and sometimes longer, such as during peak traffic times.
