The 114-room Hotel Tres Torres is an upper-middle-range property located right across the street from the marina, in a quiet area of Santa Eulalia a five-minute walk from the beach. Rooms are clean and contemporary, with all-white decor, pretty terra-cotta floors, and gray striped bed runners and matching pillows, as well as minibars, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi. However, most bathrooms are in urgent need of an update, and balconies are not swept regularly. There is a medium-sized outdoor pool, but many guests complain that the no reservations policy is not enforced and it can be hard to find a lounger if you don't snag a seat before breakfast. Additionally, the hotel offers a decent buffet restaurant, a snack bar, and a quiet bar. For accommodations with kitchenettes, travelers could try the Migjorn Ibiza Suites & Spa.
Scene
A quiet upper-middle-range hotel popular with middle-aged couples
The Hotel Tres Torres is an upper-middle-range property that offers a quiet retreat near the marina. The lobby has a funky mix of classic decor (think: wood paneling, a grandfather clock, large black Chesterfield couches, and ornate wood-carved doors) and beachy touches such as wicker furniture with fuchsia and yellow stripes. There are other inviting common spaces, such as the snack bar with its contemporary outdoor seating area filled with comfy patio furniture and long built-in benches with black and pink pillows under woven canopies. Although the Tres Torres has Family Rooms with sofa beds, and a kids' pool separated from the main one by a safety railing, the vibe here is quiet and more suited to couples and groups of friends. There isn’t much going on in the hotel most nights, but there are a few bars within a couple of blocks.
Location
Overlooking the marina in central Santa Eulalia
This hotel is located on the corner of Santa Eulalia’s promenade, situated on a quiet street directly across from the marina. There's little in the surrounding area other than a dusty parking lot right behind the hotel and another hotel across the street, but those looking to explore the city can walk down the promenade to a number of bars, restaurants, and shops, all within a five-minute walk. Santa Eulalia’s main beach is also a five-minute walk away, and there's another longer one just a short stroll from there. Ibiza Town can be reached by car in 20 minutes, and party areas such as Playa d’en Bossa and Sant Antoni de Portmany are a 25- to 30-minute drive away. The drive to the airport takes about 25 minutes.
Rooms
Sunny and clean rooms with contemporary decor and up-to-date amenities, though some bathrooms are dated
The clean, sunny rooms at Hotel Tres Torres have terra-cotta tile floors, white linens, and gray-striped bed runners and matching cushions. Most bathrooms (with shower/tub combos) are showing signs of wear and tear, including chipped mirrors and fittings with signs of limescale, though some rooms have contemporary bathrooms that have been updated with sleek walk-in showers. All units have up-to-date amenities that include free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars with some extra space for additional cans or snacks, toiletries, air-conditioning, and safes. Superior Rooms have a small seating area with a sofa, and at least partial sea views; Family Rooms have two connecting rooms, each with its own bathroom. Large sliding doors with wooden frames open onto small furnished balconies equipped with a clothes rack, but many guests have complained that they are rarely swept and can be dirty. Also note that rooms do not have coffeemakers.
Features
A medium-sized pool, a snack bar, a buffet restaurant, and a bar
Although a little small for a hotel this size, the pool is a pleasant spot for a quiet morning in the sun -- that is, if you can get a lounger. There are a couple dozen loungers around the pool, but despite the no-reservations policy, many guests place their towels on the loungers well before breakfast and it can be hard to secure a seat. The restaurant serves a decent international buffet for breakfast and dinner, and the snack bar offers a limited lunch menu with nice outdoor seating by the pool. At night, a few guests can be seen enjoying a quiet nightcap at the indoor bar, which has large floor-to-ceiling windows, and an intimate nook with a handful of tables and wooden floors. There is no fitness center on-site. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
