Hotel Club Bahamas Ibiza is a 514-room upper-middle-range property that includes all-inclusive options, a pool, a spa, a fitness center, direct access to a sandy beach, and two restaurants. It's within walking distance of Ibiza’s top clubs and draws many young couples and groups of friends. Rooms are bright and contemporary, with balconies and aquamarine accents, and come with flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, and mini-fridges. Be aware that the music around the pool can be loud, and the proximity of the airport means planes can be heard as they take off and land.
Scene
A solid all-inclusive with stylish, mostly white decor and a beachfront location
The Club Bahamas underwent top-to-bottom renovations in 2010, and again in 2014, bringing a completely new look and vibe to a formerly drab property, with contemporary, almost all-white decor predominating in the common spaces and guest rooms. Hotel Club Bahamas caters only to adults as of summer 2017, and is within walking distance of most of Ibiza’s famous party venues -- including Ushuaia, Bora Bora, Space, and the Hard Rock Hotel -- attracting couples and groups of friends.
Location
On sandy Playa d’en Bossa, a short walk to famous nightclubs
The hotel is located on a sandy stretch of Playa d’en Bossa, the island’s longest beach. Ushuaia -- easily Ibiza’s most famous hotel and nightclub -- is located down the street, and Space and Bora Bora, also well-known party spots, are within a five-minute walk. There are several luxury properties nearby, and a few restaurants and bars along the beach, but guests can find a wider array of dining spots and shops a few miles north. The airport is a five-minute drive away (the hotel does get some noise from planes landing and taking off), and the town of Ibiza is less than a 10-minute drive, or a 20-minute trip by bus.
Rooms
Contemporary, Mediterranean-style rooms with furnished balconies and nice bathrooms
The hotel offers three room types, including Double, Superior, and Suites. The Suite and Superior Rooms include whirlpools on the terraces, upgraded loungers, a bottle of cava on arrival, and stocked minibars instead of empty mini-fridges. Decor is modern, with turquoise bed runners and pillows over crisp white linens that stand out against the gray-and-earth-tone palette. Rooms include flat-screen TVs, a free bottle of water, air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, and mini-fridges or minibars. White-tile bathrooms include shower/tub combos, bidets, a large mirror, hairdryers, and rectangular white sinks set on black countertops. A few rooms have partial ocean views, but most overlook either the pool or the street. Safes are available for a daily fee.
Features
A pool, two restaurants, a spa, a fitness center, and entertainment
The hotel has a small but pleasant spa complete with a steam room, sauna, three massage cabins, and a whirlpool. A modern fitness center includes an array of cardio- and weight-training machines, and free weights. The main restaurant serves buffet-style for all three meals, and the a la carte restaurant offers Mediterranean cuisine. The hotel also features three bars, including one with live shows, a lobby bar with a large-screen TV, and a snack bar. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
