The mid-range Fiesta Hotel Milord checks two important boxes for a stay in Ibiza: close proximity to the beach and bars, and a quiet spot to crash at the end of the day. The seafront hotel is located fairly close to the Sunset Strip in San Antonio, but far enough that nighttime noise is minimal. This family-friendly spot has direct beach access, two pools, and a kids' club. The buffet restaurant and poolside bar receive positive reviews, plus all-inclusive packages are available. The 371 rooms are cheery and air-conditioned, though furnishings are dated. Rooms also have furnished balconies, but some overlook the road. Also, beware of fees for Wi-Fi, in-room safes, and loungers on the beach. Couples may prefer the adult-only Palladium Hotel Palmyra, which has modern rooms and is within walking distance of the nightlife hub.
Scene
Family-friendly, mid-range hotel offering a slightly quieter side to Ibiza
The seaside Fiesta Hotel Milord is a family-friendly alternative to the many party-centric hotels in Ibiza. Though the location makes it a good starting point for young partiers, on-site entertainment, babysitting options, and kid-friendly amenities make this spot predominantly trafficked by families and couples. This hotel caters more to those looking to be close to nightlife, but not right in the thick of it. The Fiesta Hotel Milord comprises two blocks: One area holds the lobby and rooms, while the other houses the main buffet restaurant and additional rooms. The whitewashed facade and entryway with a wooden pergola over stonework are attractive, but interiors are a bit of a let down. The lobby is crisp and airy, but white faux-leather couches and wood paneling feel dated. This old-fashioned vibe continues into the guest rooms and bar. Things are significantly more fresh outside, where the two attractive wooden pool decks have sea views and direct beach access. Most guests are happy to trade modern interiors for multiple vantage points of the lovely sea.
Location
Waterfront setting with prime bay views and easy access to San Antonio
Right on the bay, Fiesta Hotel Milord has a great location that's a 15-minute drive away from San Antonio. This give guests the ability to be near the hot spots on the Sunset Strip, without suffering from the noise. Guests are also a short drive from one of the best spots to catch an Instagram-worthy Ibiza sunset -- Cafe Del Mar is a 15-minute drive from the hotel. Conveniently, travelers can easily catch a water taxi at the dock behind the hotel to head to San Antonio. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance of the hotel, too. Kumharas restaurant is a quick four-minute walk from Fiesta Hotel Milord, and Can Pujol is a 12-minute walk -- both spots offer beautiful water views and alfresco dining.
Rooms
Comfortably sized rooms with simple and cheerful, albeit dated, decor
Split between two buildings, the 371 rooms have a cheerful and homey feel, though outdated furnishings. Bedding consists of either green blankets or patterned bedspreads that match the curtains, while the minimal modern furniture does manage to compliment the look. Framed artwork and yellow accent walls add pops of pleasant color to the otherwise uninspired rooms. Sliding glass doors open to balconies furnished with chairs and tables, but it's important to note that views range from beautiful vistas of the water to less-than-stellar outlooks of the road. Rooms are comfortably sized and come equipped with flat screen TVs, desks, and ceiling fans in addition to air-conditioning. Nondescript bathrooms have shower/tub combos, bidets, wall-mounted hairdryers, and free basic bath products. In addition to safes, Wi-Fi is available for a fee, and previous guests have complained the latter's service isn't great.
Features
Two pools, beach access, and entertainment day and night
Staying true to its family-friendly vibe, Fiesta Hotel Milord provides entertainment in all forms, day and night, for both kids and adults. Starting early in the morning -- to many guests' chagrin -- loungers are reserved by the two outdoor pools, each with their own shallow section for kids. These also lead down to the sandy beach, though guests have to pay to use the loungers there. There are live shows from the entertainment staff, a business center equipped with computers and video games, a game room stocked with the classics (pool, foosball, and air hockey), and a kids' club for the little ones. There's no gym, however. Upon request and for an additional charge, the hotel also offers babysitting. Wi-Fi is available for a pricey fee. Milord Restaurant offers buffet options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with a kids' menu as well. A pool bar offers a range of snacks and beverage options (including alcohol), plus an indoor bar is available. Guests can book all-inclusive packages and food receives mostly positive reviews.
