Can Lluc is a charming, upscale agritourism boutique located in a secluded rural setting in central Ibiza. The property’s 12 rooms are decorated in a rustic-chic style with exposed stone walls, wooden beams, and traditional Ibizan artifacts, but each has its own unique touches and character. Additionally, there are eight suites (known as Villas here) featuring stylish contemporary decor, jetted tubs and kitchenettes. The lovely pool -- complete with a whirlpool, padded loungers, Bali beds, bar service, and a massage hut -- is a tranquil spot for a relaxing morning in the sun. The hotel also has a tiny fitness center with a sauna and a whirlpool, and a cute restaurant serving a seasonal menu made with locally sourced produce. This upscale property accepts kids, but it is better suited for couples looking to get away from it all than for families.
Scene
A quiet rustic property with 20 rooms and a stylish pool
Hotel Rural Can Pujolet is another remote agritourism property on Ibiza worth considering. Those who would prefer to be closer to Port de Sant Miguel can consider the comparable Agroturismo Sa Vinya D'en Palerm.Nestled among Mediterranean forests and olive trees in a secluded rural area in central Ibiza, Can Lluc is an upscale family-run boutique that draws mostly couples looking to spend a few quiet days in the sun. Formerly the home of the current owner’s grandfather, this boutique still keeps many of the original antiques and traditional architectural elements, including stone walls, exposed wooden beams, clay crockery, and even an old bicycle that is now displayed in the restaurant. This rustic style is charming and cozy, and the thorough attention to detail and serene atmosphere give the property an exclusive feel. In the early 2010s the owners added a few low buildings that now house the hotel’s eight one-bedroom suites, featuring stylish contemporary decor and a number of upscale perks. They’re a little away from the main building and offer extra privacy. The pool bar, a striking wooden structure with a few tables in a shaded spot, was opened in 2015.
Location
In a rural area a 20-minute drive from Ibiza Town and Sant Antoni
The boutique is located in a quiet, rural setting in central Ibiza. Beautiful Mediterranean pine forests and olive trees surround the property, but there aren’t any urban areas within walking distance. Guests can walk to pretty lookout points in and around the property, but the nearest restaurants, bars and shops are a 10-minute drive away, in San Rafael. This location is convenient for those looking to explore the island by car, as it is equidistant from most coastal areas. The nearest beach is in Sant Antoni, an area known for its hopping nightlife scene, which is a 20-minute drive away. Ibiza Town and the airport can be reached in under 25 minutes.
Rooms
Twelve charming rustic rooms and eight stylish one-bedroom suites
The hotel offers two main types of accommodation: guest rooms (which are then subdivided into Double, Superior and Family units depending on size and amenities) and Villas. All rooms have rustic decor with traditional clay tiles, exposed wooden beams, and whitewashed stone walls, and each unit has unique features and details, including fireplaces, hydromassage showers, and wrought-iron patio furniture. Double Rooms have either two twin beds or a queen and are a tad small and spartan for the price; Superior Rooms have a separate living room with one or two extra beds, fireplaces, and double jetted tubs in the bathroom. Villas are housed in low standalone structures a little away from the main building and have more upscale decor, king beds, basic kitchenettes, double sofa beds, Nespresso coffee machines, and luxurious bathrooms. Free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and minibars are all standard amenities. Larger groups or families can book Can Jaume Curt, a three-bedroom villa complete with a private plunge pool located a mile away from the main property.
Features
A lovely pool, a restaurant, a tiny gym, free Wi-Fi and a meeting room
Heading to the property’s lovely pool after enjoying breakfast in the shaded patio is part of the morning ritual here. Padded loungers, parasols, Bali beds with drapes for privacy, a whirlpool, and bar service are all available around the pool deck. A massage hut offers body treatments and salon services by the pool, and a gazebo with a U-shaped padded bench a little away from the central part of the property is the perfect spot for enjoying stunning sunset views. Open for lunch and dinner, the restaurant serves a short seasonal menu with fresh produce sourced from the on-site vegetable garden and neighboring farms. The fitness center has three machines, a whirlpool and a sauna, but it’s tiny and basic. Can Lluc also offers a well-equipped meeting room and airport transfer services for a fee. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
