The biggest thing at Bora Bora Apartments is the scene. This is where to go for a nonstop party, especially during the peak months of summer. While it's technically a hotel with a beach club, the sunrise-to-sunrise hours of the club, daily pool parties, and go-til-you-drop mentality of the guests can often make it feel more like a beach club with a hotel. It's no surprise then that walking into the hotel's open-air reception area feels akin to a beach hostel thanks to its painted blue concrete floors, blank white walls, modern minimalist plastic bucket chairs, and ceiling cutouts. It's the kind of place that charges a big deposit for TV remotes. 

Overall, the hotel, even after its renovation, feels a bit like a tired facade that has been painted over and over to breathe in new life. Renovations brought in large potted plants, succulents, and funky, life-sized cutouts of people precariously posed near refurbished balconies. The average guest is in their 20s and 30s, with a few outliers on either side, all ready to paint the town red. It's a great spot for those looking for an ongoing party with a place to take power naps in between, but never for a good night's sleep. It's also good to note that anyone book toward the end of the season will find a more subdued atmosphere, stricter operating hours, and an absence of daily pool parties as the property winds down. 

Bora Bora Apartments is located on the beachfront of Ibiza's world-famous Playa D'en Bossa party area. The hotel is surrounded by shops, restaurants, stores, and bars, and a large public parking garage can be found just around the corner. Top clubs like Ushuaia, Hard Rock, Sankeys, and Hi Ibiza are all within a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Bora Bora's 90 apartment-style rooms were given a much-needed makeover between the hotel's 2016/2017 seasons. Dated terra-cotta tiled floors were replaced with laminate wood; new white countertops and cabinets were installed in the kitchens; and dated motel-style bedding and living room furniture were subbed out for new beds with gray blankets and contemporary charcoal couches. Rooms come as either Studios with double beds or Superior Apartments with separate bedrooms; these either have two twins or a double bed plus a convertible couch in the living room. Kitchenettes are compact with two-burner electric stoves, mini-fridges, and the bare minimum when it comes to cooking utensils and plates. All rooms have frosted-glass balconies with table-and-chair sets that face out either to the pool or ocean. Bathrooms are contemporary but tight with walk-in, curtain-only showers and a floating vanity sink. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi. 

Bora Bora's beachfront is a lively scene that starts at the hotel's popular beach club and spreads out on the wide band of golden sand of Playa d'en Bossa. The nearly sunrise-to-sunrise hours of the beach club bar keep this spot packed with DJs, drinks, and dancers on the tile floors, tabletops, and sand. Bathing suits, costumes, gowns, it all goes here. During the days, the beach is covered with Bali beds, sheet-covered cushioned loungers, thatched parasols, and beach towels, while sun worshippers sleep and socialize, often drink-in-hand. When the season starts to cool down, they don't seem to bother as much with the beds and loungers, leaving folks to throw down towels or take a seat at the bar. 

Behind the Bora Bora Beach Club, the hotel's most popular feature is the central pool. Though the pool itself is rather small for a hotel with close to 100 rooms, the main attraction here is the DJ and parties. By the end of the season, the deck feels worn and looks tired, while the remaining cushions are crumpled in the corner and covered in mildew, sacrificed after a season of daily parties. Out back by the beach club, there's a casual dining restaurant with Mediterranean cuisine and a live lobster tank. Other food options include a sushi shack and the side walk cafeteria out front, serving basic bites at a low price. The hotel also owns a grocery store across the street. The lobby area is home to a very busy reception area where guests can book tours, diving trips, and ferry tickets. There's also a set of electronic lockers that are inaccessible overnight. Massages and reiki treatments are available on request, and there's a locked luggage storage room just off the front desk. Wi-Fi is free, and there are no pets allowed.
