Scene
Cool and contemporary interiors inspired by the island’s landscape
The design and atmosphere at the Adriana Hvar Spa Hotel is playful, bright, and trendy. The striking purple glass reception desk is the focal point of the lobby, where there are modern armchairs, vases of orchids, and a flat-screen TV mounted on the wall. The trendy decor continues throughout the hotel, which is designed to appeal to a younger crowd, though tourists of all ages stay here, and those with children are warmly welcomed too. The hotel offers babysitting, cots, high chairs, and children’s menus in the restaurant. The soft purple theme has been designed to mirror the island’s famous lavender fields, and locally made lavender products are used in the spa as well. The hotel goes the extra mile to add a touch of luxury to its guests’ stay, with a glass of prosecco and lavender-scented warm towels offered on arrival, plus homemade macarons in the rooms.
