Bottom Line

V Villas Hua Hin is a luxury
property located at the south end of Hua Hin, close to the main shopping mall, Cicada Weekend Market, and plenty of restaurants and bars. The resort has 23 one-, two-, or three-bedroom Pool Villa Suites, all featuring the complete trappings of
luxury, from Bose sound systems to wine refrigerators, as well as fine bedding, private swimming pools, and even the services of a private butler. The grounds are
laid out in an elongated maze-like garden, with the villas interspersed and
hidden away throughout. There's a lovely infinity-edge pool and hot tub overlooking the beach (one of the cleanest and nicest of
Hua Hin), as well as an elegant restaurant
with sunken tables surrounded by water, a small fitness
center, and a high-end spa. Rates are expensive, but for those looking to splurge, you’ll
do no better. Travelers seeking something comparable, but at less expensive rates, could consider the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin.

Scene

Exclusive and elegant beachfront resort surrounded by lush grounds

This opulent property is hidden behind a wall from the main street and surrounded by manicured grounds filled with lush plants and water features. The villas are tucked away throughout, interspersed between hedges and flowing water carpets, with
walkways leading out to the infinity-edge pool and sunken dining tables of the
gourmet restaurant, also surrounded by water. Guests are greeted in an open-air black-tiled lobby that features minimalist decor including large black-and-white sofas and orchid and lotus flowers sprinkled about in vases. From there, guests are checked in then whisked off by buggy to their villas. While the clientele here are all
well-heeled, almost everyone remains impressed with the surroundings, and you’ll
find guests taking selfies and photos at just about every turn.

Location

Located at the southern end of Hua Hin and close to attractions, yet with a private, hidden feel

V Villas Hua Hin is located at the southern end
of Hua Hin town. The entrance to the hotel sits right on the main road, but the rest of the resort is well hidden, and runs all the way down
to the beach. This stretch of sand in front of the resort is Hua Hin’s nicest beach, both clean and empty. The location is convenient for city amenities and attractions, such as the Cicada Weekend Market, which is an 11-minute walk away, and the city’s largest shopping plaza, which is a five-minute drive. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Being at
the south end of town, it's also convenient for accessing the city bypass to
go back to Bangkok, which is about three hours away, but weekend traffic can be unbearable. Hua Hin Airport is around a 20-minute drive.

Rooms

Spacious and luxurious suites with stylish, modern decor and opulent amenities including private butlers and swimming pools

The hotel's spacious Pool Villa Suites range in size from one- to three-bedroom units, each with a
private swimming pool and sundeck. Stylish, contemporary decor is met with an array of opulent amenities, including Bose sound systems, stocked
wine refrigerators, luxury bedding, objects d’art, pantries, and even the services of a private
personal butler. Large flat-screen TVs, coffee machines,
safes, bathrobes, and free Wi-Fi are also included. Large living rooms have plush armchairs and foot rests, while sofas and beds are filled with cushions and pillows. Wide, luxurious bathrooms are clad in cream-colored marble and stone and outfitted with walk-in rainfall showers and separate whirlpool tubs. There's also a two-story Presidential Beachfront Pool Villa Suite, which can sleep up to six people and has a large living room as well as an open-plan kitchen.

Features

Infinity-edge pool overlooking the beach, gourmet restaurant, spa, fitness center, and free Wi-Fi

V Villas Hua Hin has a large and beautiful
infinity-edge pool that overlooks Hua Hin Beach and is surrounded by a wooden sundeck lined with padded loungers. There's also a
spacious whirlpool adjacent to it. The resort’s lone restaurant, Villazzo,
has won awards for its gourmet cuisine, and the lunch and dinner menu, which is
given to diners on an iPad, features standouts like Norwegian salmon, African
lobster, or high-end meats and wood fired pizzas. The restaurant also serves
free breakfasts to guests, which are sumptuous buffets featuring sashimi, fine
meats and cheeses, fancy breads, and tons of other items to choose from. Cooking classes and wine tastings are available for an added fee, and romantic candlelit dinners can be requested. In addition to the pool
and restaurant, the resort has a luxurious spa, as well as a small fitness
center. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
