Articles Mentioning Budget
Ibis London Wembley
The Ibis London Wembley is a budget property in London’s thriving Wembley Park neighborhood. It has some impressive views of the busy streets below and Wembley Stadium’s iconic arches from the towering floors. The hotel seems to embrace its setting with a characterful restaurant and bar with some edgy design, which may appeal to the music and sports fans who stay here. Sadly, the 210 rooms are less attractive with simple decor that’s notably dated in some places and small bathrooms. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, and hairdryers, but no safes. Rates are extremely reasonable, though the 30-minute train journey to London’s top landmarks may deter some sightseers. For a similar location but more features like a spa, British bar, and 24-hour gym, consider Hilton London Wembley.
Days Inn by Wyndham Miami Airport North
The budget, 147-room Days Inn Miami Airport North is ideally positioned for guests who need quick connections to the cruise ports or an overnight stay before catching an early flight; however, guests looking to stay in Miami more than a few days should look elsewhere. Rooms are the biggest concern, with sketchy cleaning and frequent maintenance and bug problems. They do, however, have flat-screen TVs and work desks. Wi-Fi is also patchy the farther one gets from reception. A well-maintained pool is a surprising perk, but the lack of free breakfast — unlike most Days Inn properties — is another con. A better choice by the airport is Comfort Suites Miami Airport North, which has a pool, clean rooms with microwaves and mini-fridges, and ample free breakfast.
Mountain Inn & Suites
The Mountain Inn & Suites offers a comfortable stay at a good overall value. Located just off Interstate 26 in Flat Rock, the lower-middle-range inn is a short drive to Hendersonville and just 30 minutes to Asheville. It has a friendly and relaxed vibe, with freebies including a hot breakfast, laundry service, parking, and Wi-Fi. But it doesn’t have a pool or fitness center. Its 67 rooms are clean and pulled together, if a bit dark and basic. Standard rooms include coffeemakers and flat screen TVs, but only Suites have mini-fridges and microwaves. Some Suites also have whirlpool tubs. Rates are attractive, but the nearby Quality Inn & Suites typically has better prices. It also has an indoor pool and fitness center.
