Waikiki Sand Villa Hotel is a two-and-a-half-pearl property located a seven-minute stroll from Waikiki Beach’s gorgeous oceanfront. It’s 214 air-conditioned rooms are dated, but clean, and come with small flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and high-tech Toto Washlets. Small balconies are standard, but none offer ocean views. The hotel’s outdoor pool is surrounded by lounge chairs and has partially-shaded areas covering the hot tub. Waikiki Sand’s restaurant (and bar) get mostly positive reviews. Its breakfast buffet is only so-so, but the restaurant is open late. Hotel amenities include a coin-operated laundry room, a wine bar, Japanese foot spa, fitness center, and a hospitality room. This is one of the best deals in Waikiki, but OHANA Waikiki East by Outrigger has similarly priced rooms with multiple restaurants, a serene pool, and is a  five-minute walk to the beach.
