The living room, dining, and kitchen areas are well-equipped for multiple guests and longer stays, much like other condos in the area, but access to the Waikoloa Hilton allows guests to enjoy resort-like perks close by. The lobby area and main pool are beautifully designed, though both can easily become crowded (along with other facilities) due to high traffic and small space. Some areas are a bit dated, but overall it's a great value for the price and for those looking for a more at-home-type extended stay.

Tucked between two 18-hole championship golf courses along the 10-acre Hilton Waikoloa Resort, the Hilton Grand Vacations Club offers a cozier, more at-home guest house feel than one might expect for such a large resort area. The condo-style accommodations are situated among a verdant landscape with a lava-rock river pond and towering palms. Casual picnic tables, colorful benches, and free-use barbecue grills can be found along the property -- as can three varied pools, one of which is surrounded by a lovely lawn dotted with comfy cabanas, a small slide (for kids and adults alike), and a poolside bar and grill.

Hilton Grand Vacations is located at the northern side of the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course on Waikoloa Beach Drive. The 120 rooms at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club are spacious and clean, though there is a huge contrast between the Master Suite and the second bedroom. The Master Suite feels luxurious with contemporary accents and a flat-screen TV, whereas the guest rooms tend to feel more generic and like any other chain hotel.
