The Hotel Biltmore Guatemala is a contemporary and well-maintained three-pearl property that's a decent choice for travelers staying at the south end of the Guatemala City center. Parque Central is a little far, but the hotel is a five-minute walk from Plaza España bus station and 10 minutes by car (with free hotel shuttle) from the airport. Major on-site features are limited to a free hot breakfast buffet and lobby bar, but guests have access (for a fee) to the next-door Westin’s wellness facilities. The Biltmore’s 116 spacious guest rooms come with flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, and suites add living rooms and kitchenettes with microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. The nearby Courtyard by Marriott Guatemala City is newer and more stylish, but room rates can run higher and it doesn’t have access to a pool.
