Granada is a historical and cultural mecca in southern Spain's Andalucia region, with cathedrals, museums, monasteries, gardens, and castles seemingly at every turn. (Most well-known of these attractions is the striking Alhambra palace, a symbol of Moorish culture with mosaic tiling, running fountains, and archways.) Many of Granada's hotels are small boutiques occupying 15th- and 16th-century structures, but there are some options that suit families with their central locations, kids' activities, and spacious rooms.
