Seven Stars Resort & Spa
Grace Bay Road

This 115-room beachfront resort provides elegant and spacious suites, exceptional service, and tons of amenities, all for rates often much lower than competing properties. With three dining options, a heated saltwater pool, a spa, a kids' club, a 24-hour fitness center, and a sprawling beachfront, Seven Stars is in the same league as the island's top resorts. It's nearly perfect, except for a cramped business center, cheap beach furniture, and expensive, though excellent, dining. For more dining options (20, to be precise) look into Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort Villages and Spa, also on Grace Bay.

Ports of Call Resort
Grace Bay Rd

The 98-room Ports of Call Resort is an upper-middle-range hotel located between Provo's two main roads. Although not directly on the Grace Bay Beach, it does have a dedicated beach space and is just a five-minute walk (or shuttle ride) away. Rooms are all spacious Junior Suites with updated contemporary decor featuring local art. Family-friendly features like a kids' playground and sitter service make it ideal for families, while couples can take advantage of the private and quiet vibe. Meanwhile, the poolside bar happy hours and proximity to shops, restaurants, and bars make it appealing to other travelers, too. Features are more extensive here than at many other options in this price category.

The Tuscany
RR4M+QC2 Grace Bay Beach, Grace Bay Rd

The Tuscany on Grace Bay is a superb, four-pearl property located on gorgeous Grace Bay Beach. Its 30, three-bedroom suites offer tons of space, luxurious furnishings, and fantastic ocean views. (Units can also be closed off to create one- and two-bedroom suites, too.) As with many self-catering properties, Tuscany has minimal on-site amenities -- there's no spa, no restaurant, and no 24-hour reception; however, the property does have a stunning beach and a peaceful pool, plus guests don’t have far to go to reach shops and restaurants. Travelers looking for more on-site features might prefer Sands at Grace Bay.

Point Grace
Grace Bay Road, The Bight Settlements BWI

This upscale boutique is heavy on style and refinement, with British Colonial design and 28 huge multi-room suites featuring full kitchens and large furnished terraces. The gorgeous Grace Bay location on a stunning stretch of beach is within walking distance of a couple of restaurants -- but there are two on-site that serve delicious Caribbean fare: a casual breakfast/lunch restaurant and a romantic spot for dinner. Other property highlights include a tranquil pool, personal beachfront service, and a spectacular thalassotherapy spa. Suites can use some updates in terms of amenities but kitchens are well equipped with espresso machines and coffeemakers. For something even more luxurious, Grace Bay Club Hotel has seven restaurants and three pools -- but higher rates.

Alexandra Resort
Princess Drive

Alexandra Resort is a lovely, three-and-a-half-pearl property located on Grace Bay Beach. The resort’s 90 studios and suites are well-kept and inviting, with all offering generously sized balconies or terraces along with sleek kitchenettes or kitchens. The property’s lagoon-style pool has a swim-up bar and hot tub, while the on-site restaurant holds its own against the dining options at neighboring resorts. Overall, Alexandra Resort offers good bang for your buck in the high-priced Grace Bay area, but travelers may still want to compare rates and amenities with Sands at Grace Bay

Le Vele Resort
Grace Bay Beach, 22 Manor Street

Le Vele Resort is an upscale, 22-room beachfront boutique with luxe accommodations and a quiet atmosphere. Studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments feature contemporary decor, sleek kitchens with stainless steel appliances, oceanfront balconies, and handy amenities like in-unit washer/dryers. The hotel has a mid-size rectangular pool, a small beachfront, and a fitness center, but otherwise there’s not much to do. Guests looking for similarly chic accommodations with a livelier atmosphere might prefer the Gansevoort, but it's usually more expensive.

Inn at Grace Bay
382 Grace Bay Road

This 18-unit condo-hotel has very little in the way of amenities, with just a small pool and barbecue grill with picnic area. Clean, spacious suites are the real draw, featuring full kitchens, washer/dryers, and large balconies -- for some of Providenciales' more affordable rates. The location is near major shopping and dining areas -- but it's not right on the beach (Grace Bay is a 5-minute walk away).

Villa Renaissance
Ventura Drive

A stately property with Mediterranean flair, Villa Renaissance is home to 36 individually owned upscale apartment units. With one-, two-, and three-bedroom options — all of which have full kitchens, separate living spaces, and large balconies — Villa Renaissance is ideal for couples, families, or large groups. Throughout the day, guests can be found lounging by the beautiful mosaic tile pool, relaxing on world-famous Grace Bay beach, or spending time at the on-site spa or fitness center. Although Villa Renaissance doesn’t have its own restaurant, there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. Travelers looking for similar accommodations and amenities at a more affordable price should check out the nearby Ocean Club West, which has a nicer beach and a larger pool, but is farther from shops and restaurants.

Windsong on the Reef
Stubbs Rd.

Windsong Resort is a laid-back, four-pearl property located on dazzling Grace Bay Beach. While the tropical decor featured in the resort’s 50 rooms isn’t especially remarkable, rooms offer lots of high-end touches like Hilden bed linens, marble bathrooms, and iPod alarm clocks. The most basic rooms and studios are a bit cramped, however, and lack balconies. The resort has a solid lineup of on-site amenities, including a clever, glass-enclosed pool, a breezy restaurant, and a comfortable lounge area. Travelers may want to compare rates and amenities with the Sands at Grace Bay.

Beach House Turks & Caicos
Lower Bight Rd 218

The upscale, adults-only Beach House Turks & Caicos is an all-suite property located on Grace Bay, the island's most beautiful beach. Its 21 suites are enormous, sophisticated, and have open-plan kitchens, dining nooks, living rooms, and larger-than-expected balconies (either overlooking Grace Bay or the lush garden grounds). Out back, the turquoise waters and powder sand of Grace Bay await -- with each suite receiving a dedicated lounge space to soak it all in. Spa treatments are available indoors or on the beach, the pool is attractively landscaped, and the restaurant serves creative fusion cuisine. It may also be worth considering the similarly priced Point Grace, which also offers big luxury suites on Grace Bay.
