The 102-room upscale Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel has many attractive features, from an 18-hole championship level golf course with private clubhouse to a stylish spa with two pools and long list of treatments. Situated in 160 acres of coastal parkland overlooking the Irish Sea and miles of secluded beach, the location is pretty special too. Scene

Seaside, modern hotel with golf course

Once past the Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel's sober and somewhat anonymous facade, a lobby area sets a swish contemporary tone combining smart modern seating with glitzy furnishings and gold-print wallpaper. A candelabra-topped grand piano and polished chrome lamps add to an air of serene flamboyance, while colorful modern prints and an impressive bronze centaur statue bring an artistic vibe to the property. Built in 2007 by Italian architect Francesco Beia, the hotel is split between the rooms of the main building and a separate enclave of house accommodation, nestled among a swathe of coastal parkland, including an 18-hole golf course, set beside miles of secluded beach.

Location

Set in coastal parkland overlooking the Irish Sea

The Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel is set among 160 acres of coastal parkland on the picturesque southeast coast of Ireland, just over an hour drive from Dublin and minutes off the main E01 freeway. The property overlooks the Irish Sea, miles of secluded coastline, and its own championship golf course.

Rooms

Smart, contemporary rooms and snazzy suites with choice of views

The hotel's standard rooms are all smartly decorated in neutral tones, carpeted floors, and contemporary wooden furnishings. Suites have a more colorful, flamboyant scheme, with polished parquet flooring, velvet bed throws, and quirky, stylish furniture. In-room amenities include flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi, while bathrooms all include robes and The White Company toiletries -- suites feature wooden or square jetted tubs. Courthouse suites have two or three bedrooms, kitchenettes, patios, and plush lounges with leather sofas. All rooms have golf course, hill, or sea views.

Features

Swish, full-service spa and golf course with private clubhouse

The hotel's award-winning Oceo Spa provides an impressive level of stylish design and facilities, from hydrotherapy and thermal pools, hammam suite, ice grotto, and sunken spa gardens, coupled with an extensive range of treatments. The 18-hole championship golf course offers world class golfing and a smart clubhouse offering Italian food overlooking the Irish Sea. Fine dining is also on offer in the hotel's restaurant, with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients, while a bar provides drinks and relaxation. A kids' club provides an activities program for children of all ages.
