Quality Inn & Suites Gatlinburg

Apart from the beautiful mountain setting, Quality Inn & Suites Gatlinburg doesn't look like anything spectacular from the outside. The interiors are a lot more cozy and welcoming, with simple and modern decor. The lobby is small and formal, with wood laminate flooring, wooden reception desk, small business center in the corner, free coffee station, two elegant high-back chairs, and mountain-themed artwork on the walls. The outside of the hotel features strips of stone walls and red-fenced balconies. The breakfast room is quite plain in decor, though it includes a corner fireplace which makes for a cozy setting in the winter months. Overall, the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxed, though some guests have complained of noisy dogs (as this is a pet-friendly property). The hotel attracts mainly couples and families, with a few business travelers passing through.

The hotel overlooks the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, which is only a three-minute walk from the property. There are also a handful of restaurants, bars, and shops within close walking distance from the hotel. It's an 11-minute walk, or five-minute drive, into the center of Gatlinburg. Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is also a five-minute drive from the property. Great Smoky Mountains National Park is just six minutes by car. Other nearby attractions include: Rocky Top Sports World (10-minute drive), Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail (19-minute drive), and Dollywood Amusement Park (20-minute drive). Gatlinburg uses a trolley system, with a trolley stop just outside of the hotel which goes into the center of town. The nearest airport is in Knoxville (McGhee Tyson Airport), which is about an hour away.

Quality Inn & Suites Gatlinburg's 86 guest rooms are spacious and modern, with enough amenities to make for a comfortable stay. Decor includes wooden laminate flooring, white walls with dark accent walls, white linens, dark curtains, and forest/mountain themed artwork. Full length mirrors and a seated vanity table are nice additions. Select rooms include fireplaces (in use from mid-September through end of May) and in-room hot tubs. Amenities in all rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, tea- and- coffee-making facilities, microwaves, mini-fridges, irons and ironing boards, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include a walk-in shower (with shower curtain), hairdryer, and basic toiletries. All rooms have small furnished balconies overlooking the parking lot, grounds, and Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster.

Features at Quality Inn & Suites Gatlinburg are limited, with the main drawing card being its central location.
