Ses Eufabietes

There's nothing fancy about Ses Eufabietes. It's a simple resort that provides the basic comforts for a family vacation. The building looks quite dated from the outside, still encompassing a typical '80s holiday resort feel. The interiors are slightly more modern, though they're still plain and lack character. The small lobby has the most life in it, with wicker furniture, beach-themed artwork, potted plants, and natural colors creating a beachy-feel. The grounds include large open spaces with trees and gardens throughout, though it looks quite dry with sandy areas instead of lawns and a rather shabby looking tennis court and playground.  Ses Eufabietes is geared towards family travelers with numerous kid-friendly features available like the kids' playground, shallow swimming pool, and family-size apartments with bunk beds and a sofa bed.

Ses Eufabietes is located in a quiet area in Formentera, surrounded by pine trees and forests. Besides Mitjorn Beach (a three-minute walk away) and a handful of scattered restaurants, there's not too much within walking distance from the hotel. San Francisco Javier, the island's main town, is a 10-minute drive from the hotel. For a more lively social scene, Es Pujols is a 13-minute drive from the hotel. Cabs tend to be quite pricey in the area and with no nearby public transport, renting a car is the easiest way to get around -- there's free parking at the hotel. The trip from Ibiza Airport to the hotel includes a 36-minute drive from the Ibiza Airport to Ibiza Harbor, a 40-minute ferry trip to La Savina Harbor, and then a 13-minute drive to the hotel.

The 30 apartments at Ses Eufabietes are spacious and provide adequate facilities for a comfortable family vacation. The decor is plain with standard wooden furniture, wooden floors, matching neutral colored bedspreads and curtains, and no artwork on the walls. There are four types of apartments available, all catering up to four people: Standard Apartment, Superior Apartment, Superior Plus Apartment, and Deluxe Apartment. The Standard Apartment includes only one bedroom and a sofa bed in the lounge, while the other apartments all feature two bedrooms and separate lounge/kitchen areas. All units provide air-conditioning and ceiling fans, safes, free Wi-Fi, furnished balconies or terraces, and kitchenettes. Kitchenettes are decorated with blue-tiled walls and have ovens, stovetops, mini-fridges, microwaves, coffeemakers, electric kettles, and utensils. Bathrooms include stall showers, plenty of counter space, magnifying mirrors, hairdryers, and Sea Kelp toiletries.

Facilities at Ses Eufabietes are geared towards family travelers. The restaurant serves both a la carte and buffet-style meals, including traditional Formentera rice, meat, and fish dishes. Breakfast is not included in room rates. There's a poolside snack bar serving simple meals like salads, hamburgers, and homemade desserts; along with cocktails and fresh fruit juices. The large outdoor swimming pool includes a shallow kids' area, and surrounding sun loungers and parasols. For basic conveniences, there's an on-site supermarket selling various products like snacks, fruit, dairy products, wine, cold drinks, toiletries, cleaning products, and swimming accessories -- it's a bit pricey, but good for emergencies. There's a tennis court and kids' playground, though both are a looking a bit shabby and run down. For small events like cocktail parties or family reunions, there's an open-air event space available. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Parking is also free. Additional features include car, boat, and bicycle rental.
