Harborside Suites at Little Harbor

Located on 124 waterfront acres, the Harborside Suites  at Little Harbor borders the Gulf of Mexico as well as a marina. The hotel is popular with families and couples, and has a private, residential ambience. Water views can be enjoyed from almost anywhere on the property, including the Sunset Grill, which serves breakfast, American-Caribbean fare for lunch and dinner, and a Champagne brunch on Sundays. The tiki bar offers outdoor seating at tables under umbrellas emblazoned with the Bud Light logo, and live entertainment on weekends. Long, wooden docks frame the marina, and there's a small private beach with lounge chairs.

The hotel is located on a small private beach and a marina. It's about a 30-minute drive to downtown Tampa, and there isn't much nearby. It's a 15-minute drive to Apollo Beach at Tampa, with its Electric Manatee Viewing Center, and the Florida Aquarium is about a 35-minute drive. The hotel is about halfway-between Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport and Tampa International Airport, both of which are a 45-minute drive away. 

The 55 rooms at The Harborside Suites  at Little Harbor include Studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom airy Suites, with light-blue walls and white furnishings. Seashell lamps and coral designs on throw pillows hint at a beach theme. All rooms have furnished patios, free Wi-Fi, and separate living room areas with TVs, though some are tube-style. Rooms have kitchenettes with stove tops, refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, coffee machines, blenders, and cookware. Bathrooms vary between having shower stalls, shower/tub combos, or tubs with hand-held showers. Rooms are available with fireplaces, marina or gulf views, and washer/dryers. 

The Harborside Suites at Little Harbor has two outdoor heated pools and two whirlpools, and two fitness centers with lots of cardio and weight machines. The restaurant and lounge serves American-Caribbean fare, and there's a pool bar; an outdoor tiki bar has weekend entertainment. The small private beach has free lounge chairs and umbrellas, and Jet Skis, paddleboards, kayaks, sailboats, hydro bikes, snorkeling equipment, and other gear can be rented for a fee. The property has a fishing pier, boat slips, a bait and tackle store, and boat trailer parking spots available. There are five tennis courts, along with basketball, shuffleboard, and beach volleyball courts. The property also has a horseshoe pit and a small children’s playground with plastic slides and monkey bars. Several meeting spaces are available for private events, along with covered parking. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout.
