Bottom Line

The upper-middle-range Harborside Suites at Little Harbor is a sprawling beachfront property on the south shore of Tampa Bay. Its restaurants serve Caribbean fare against water views, and for fishing enthusiasts, the hotel has a fishing pier, boat slips, and a bait and tackle store. On-site facilities include two outdoor heated pools, two fitness centers, five tennis courts, and paddle boards, Jet-Skis, and other water-sports equipment can be rented for a fee. While the 55 rooms are large and have kitchenettes (some have fireplaces), some of the furnishings, such as tube-style TVs and hand-held showers, could use an update.
