Scene
Elegant, romantic, and exclusive vibe with marina views
Striking terraced grounds, clear blue pools, and a fantastic waterfront location give the Yacht Classic a romantic and luxurious feel -- yet rates, especially on entry-level rooms, are a surprisingly good value. Smart, shrubbery-lined cobblestone paths connect the unassuming main building and whitewashed freestanding villas. The posh lobby has chandeliers dangling from vaulted ceilings with intricate murals, handsome mismatched armchairs and ottomans, and gallery-style displays on white-brick accent walls alongside statement mirrors and floor lamps. There are wallpapered alcoves, elaborately framed TVs, and a sleek curved, brown-marble-topped front desk beneath elegant pendant downlighting. Outside, the open-air restaurant, beside a gorgeous boardwalk, adds to the romance and inclusive intimacy that attracts both couples and families.
Location
Peaceful waterfront location; walking distance from harbor and old town
