Common spaces are minimal, but guests are greeted by a pretty pond with a fountain upon arrival, and the buffet restaurant is always bustling.

Just off of a main thoroughfare, the Clarion Inn has a stellar location for visiting area sites. It's about two miles from Disney, and eight miles from Universal Studios and SeaWorld, easily accessible by car. The airport's about 20 minutes away.

Furniture in the spacious rooms here is pretty basic (it looks comparable to what one may find at IKEA), but its fresh and rooms are large enough for big flat-screen TVs, big work desks, and plenty of space for moving around. All also come with free Wi-Fi, and mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and microwaves which are oddly found next to the bathroom sinks (which are in separate areas from the toilets and showers). The hotel has just two room types: king rooms and double rooms.

It's surprising that a hotel in this category lacks a fitness center, but this Clarion Inn has none. It does, however, have a medium-size heated outdoor pool and an adjacent splash zone is popular among tots. Older kids hang out in the game room.
There's just one buffet restaurant and it's always buzzing with families. There's also a lounge area, however, which serves cocktails and light bites.
