Bottom Line

The luxury Premier Le Reve Hotel & Spa offers a large property with six pools, five restaurants, and a private beachfront location -- all without kids, as it’s an adult-only property. The 372 rooms are modern and differ in decor but have all the amenities needed like minibars, kettles, and balconies. A spa, all-inclusive meal plans, and free Wi-Fi and parking are great additional perks. However, with a location that 40 minutes by car from Hurghada, guests are limited to the hotel and its amenities most of the time. Families might want to consider the Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel which allows kids, has a golf course, and is closer to  Hurghada.

Scene

Modern adult-only resort with ocean views and lovely lawns

Located on a lovely beach on the Red Sea, Premier Le Reve Hotel & Spa makes the most of its location with balconies in all rooms and pool decks with ocean views. The outside of the hotel has a lot of character thanks to lovely green lawns filled with palm trees and cozy white seating throughout. The inside was renovated in 2012, so it’s modern and clean, but with a bit less character. For instance, the grand lobby is well-lit thanks to a glass ceiling, but glossy white floors, large open spaces, and spread out seating areas can feel a bit more functional and cold than welcoming. As an adult-only property, it attracts primarily couples on vacation and is a pretty consistently busy environment in the lobby, restaurants, and by the pool where loungers are quickly taken each morning by guests.

Location

Remote beachfront location that's a 30-minute drive to Hurghada

Premier Le Reve Hotel & Spa has a beachfront location on the Red Sea. This property is surrounded by other hotels with little else in the area, making this a good spot for travelers who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There are a few restaurants that are a 14-minute drive away. Hurghada International Airport is actually closer than Hurghada at only a 30-minute drive. It takes 40 minutes by car to reach Hurghada, which provides cosmopolitan experiences of shopping, diverse restaurants, and attractions.

Rooms

Contemporary rooms with flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and kettles

The hotel has 372 rooms, all of which are decorated in fresh, contemporary styles. Some have cherry wooden furniture with cream carpet and brown or blue bedding, and cream accents. Others are a bit more chic with a taupe and gray color scheme, trendy white furniture, and lime green bed runners. And still others are romantic with tones of red, white high-backed chairs, glass desks, and elegant cream headboards. Regardless of their differing designs, they all have balconies, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, refrigerated minibars, bottled water, air-conditioning, safes, and kettles. Like the rooms, the bathrooms differ in design but generally have upscale elements like vessel sinks, marble or trendy tiles, and bidets. Bathrooms are outfitted with separate waterfall showers and tubs (some jetted), Elemis toiletries, and hairdryers.

Features

Private beach, outdoor sports, pools, spa, gym, breakfast, and restaurants

Features at this luxury resort are convenient and cater to relaxation and convenience for the adult clientele. A private beach with cabanas, beach volleyball and soccer, and loungers is a major highlight here. There are six pools, some of which are heated and others filled with saltwater, which are serviced by a pool bar. In the mornings, the hotel offers a sunglass cleaning service and fruit bowls by the pool. An on-site spa offers a small indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, Turkish hammam, and massages. For those who want to stay fit, a clean gym with dated cardio and weight-training equipment is available to use. Breakfast is diverse with hot items and cooking stations for made-to-order omelettes and pancakes. For lunch and dinner, there are five restaurants that offer Chinese, Italian, international, Egyptian, and Japanese cuisine. All-inclusive meal plans are the only available option with booking on the hotel’s website. Other features include a business center and a meeting room. There’s free Wi-Fi and parking.
