Hotel Lumiere Nishikasai
6-20-3 Nishikasai

Situated in Edogawa, an outlying ward east of central Tokyo, this mid-range hotel promises affordable rates, convenient metro links, and, perhaps most importantly, comparatively easy access to Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea. Its 192 simple but serviceable contemporary-style rooms are outfitted with mini-fridges, microwaves, LCD TVs, free Wi-F and, in some cases, unexpected perks—like kitchenettes and washer/dryers. The caveat is that on-site services are noticeably absent, and the dearth of communal spaces leaves guests with few places to gather. If you’re looking for an alternative in the area, consider Hotel Lumiere Nishikasai’s sister property—Hotel Lumiere Kasai. Rooms there are cut from the same template; however, the common areas are a bit more appealing and the location (at the next metro station) is a bit more tourist-friendly.

Best Western Tokyo Nishikasai
6-17-9 Nishikasai

The Best Western Tokyo Nishikasai is a budget hotel in eastern Tokyo. It's far from most of the city center's main attractions, but links easily to the rest of the city from nearby Nishi-Kasai Station. The hotel's biggest draw is its close proximity to Tokyo Disneyland, a 15-minute ride away on a free shuttle bus provided by the hotel. The 184 simple, modern rooms are compact -- though not unreasonably so for Tokyo -- and the bathrooms verge on tiny. In-room features include flat-screen TVs and electric kettles, though many rooms are for smokers, which won't please everyone. There's little here save a simple buffet restaurant plus a laundry room and vending machines. For something closer to central Tokyo, the Tokyo Hotel Horidome Villa has simple rooms at comparable rates.
