Edinburgh Capital Hotel is geared toward families and couples, however may be more suitable to business travelers -- with conference and business facilities available. With its close location to the airport, many travelers use this hotel for a one-night stay before an early flight.

There's not much in the immediate area when it comes to restaurants and bars, and no real tourist sights within walking distance. The Edinburgh Zoo is a five-minute drive away, while the Murrayfield Stadium as well as the Edinburgh Airport are a 10-minute drive from the hotel. Princes Street is a 15-minute drive, and the Royal Yacht Britannia is about a 20-minute drive. To get into Old Town, it's a 25-minute ride in a cab, or about 45-minutes using public transport. The Rannoch Road Bus Stop is a quick one-minute walk from the hotel, and travelers should note that there are no trams in this part of Edinburgh.
