During the day, it is a nice walk from major attractions and interesting areas on the other side of the River Liffey, such as Temple Bar and Trinity College, but at night, the area can be dodgy. Historic attractions such as the 19th-century General Post Office are nearby. Many bus lines run along O'Connell Street, making it easy to access other parts of the city. The airport bus also stops a few minutes' walk from the hotel.Once the main stage of Ireland’s political struggles, O’Connell Street is now Dublin’s main thoroughfare, home to hotels, shopping, and casual restaurants.
