Scene
Pleasant hotel with well-maintained interiors and quiet atmosphere
Suba Hotel is a dated, but well-maintained and comfy hotel that attracts couples, families, and business travelers with its low rates and Deira location. It has a modern glass exterior, while some interior spaces are a bit old-fashioned. Expect an Arabic design consisting of patterned carpets, warm earth tones, and embellished accents. Being just an eight-minute drive from the airport, this is a great option for short stays. It’s also a good choice to use as a base to explore the city, though traveling by public transportation can take a while for certain sights. All the expected features are provided here, but many are small and underwhelming, including the outdoor pool and gym. The atmosphere is quiet and no alcohol is served on-site.
