Arabian Court at One&Only Royal Mirage Dubai

Arabian Court is one of three hotels that makes up the One&Only Royal Mirage resort, and it's the most affordable (but still high end) of the three. The Royal Mirage property is massive, with 65-acres of palm-tree lined lush gardens and a kilometer of private beach. The hotel's lobby is made up of different sections, starting with the concierge and then another section with a large water feature lined with floating rose petals with the travel desk, and then into another section with the reception desk. The sectional design carries throughout the hotel, with the long winding hallways including several secluded spots and private outdoor terraces. This, along with the large arched walkways, Arabian lampshades, mosaic designs, and faint smell of incense create an authentic Arabic palatial atmosphere. Eauzone, with "floating" seating areas overlooking the Arabian Sea, dark lighting, and Arabian decor, offers a romantic restaurant setting in the evenings. During the day, the gardens and outdoor terraces are buzzing with guests. The relaxing and down to earth atmosphere along with luxury facilities appeals to discerning travelers, including families.

Arabian Court is situated within a larger hotel complex, isolated from the busy main road that runs alongside Royal Mirage. Therefore, there's little within easy walking distance, apart from the private beach access in front of the hotel; which overlooks the Jumeirah Palm islands. Nearby business districts, Media City and Internet City, are just 10 minutes by car. Downtown Dubai, however, is at least a 30-minute drive depending on traffic. JBR Beach, a public beach with loads of restaurants, take-away joints, an outdoor market, and shops is a 12-minute drive away. The Palm Jumeirah Tram Station is a five-minute walk away; so is the monorail station, which goes along the stem of Palm Jumeirah. Dubai International Airport is a 30-minute taxi ride away. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to nearby attractions including neighboring Palace Hotel, Mall of the Emirates, and Atlantis Hotel.

The 170 guest rooms and suites at Arabian Court feature a lavish Arabian flair. Expect a modern, luxurious Arabic experience, with lush patterned carpets, rich wooden furniture, crystal chandeliers, palatial-style furniture, and traditional hand-crafted decor. Rooms feature a neutral base color scheme, with accents of bright pinks, deep purples, and bright blues. Deluxe Rooms feature open plan lounge areas, while the Executive and Presidential Suites include separate lounge and dining areas. Connecting suites are available to create larger two-bedroom suites. Standard amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, tea- and- coffee-making facilities (including Nespresso coffeemakers), work desks, telephones, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Spacious bathrooms have marble top counters and mosaic decor with double vanities, walk-in showers, soaking tubs, hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and Penhaligon's toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are provided. All rooms feature large terraces decked with Arabian decor, sun loungers, parasols, and seating areas -- overlooking the beach and Jumeirah Palm. 

Luxurious features are spread throughout the Royal Mirage complex, and a fair amount are available within Arabian Court. Rates include breakfast and/or half-board meals (which also includes dinner). The buffet breakfast at The Rotisserie includes selection of local and international dishes including cereals, eggs made-to-order, pancakes, and a smoothie bar. Eauzone serves Asian-style cuisine with a sea view and Nina offers Indian cuisine. Hotel bars include Samovar Lounge, The Rooftop Terrace, and The Courtyards. The Jetty Lounge, Lobby Lounge, and Kasbar are located at The Palace. Celebrities, Olives, Tagine, and Beach Bar and Grill are located at The Palace and accessible for all guests, while The Dining Room is reserved exclusively for guests at Residence and Spa.The hotel's large outdoor space includes a massive swimming pool, including a kids' pool, surrounded by sun loungers and parasols. There is also an adult-only grass area, with sun loungers and parasols though no swimming pool. The complex has one-kilometer of private beach access, including set up of sun loungers, uniquely-designed parasols, and cabanas. Water sports are on offer and there's a daily entertainment program for all ages, including yoga classes and fitness activities.The One&Only Spa is housed within the courtyard at Residence and Spa and includes 12 treatment rooms along with additional amenities like a traditional hammam. Beauty and hair treatments are available. Two fitness centers are on offer, though neither are located within Arabian Court. Both include modern Technogym cardio and weight-training machines and personal training sessions. Seven meeting and event spaces are available, ranging in capacity from 60 to 350 guests. Wi-Fi throughout and on-site parking are free. Additional features include KidsOnly kids' club, outdoor playgrounds, tennis courts, and souvenir shops.
