What sets this hotel apart from others in the area is its
lush landscaping. The hotel has a spacious outdoor courtyard covered in green
grass with several trees and a gazebo where guests can be found reading the
newspaper or sipping coffee in warmer months. The lobby area is bright, with lots of floor-to-ceiling windows. Sofas and chairs upholstered with a Southwestern-style print are clustered around a fireplace that sits below a large flat-screen TV. Most of the guests here are business travelers or tourists with early-morning flights out of the nearby Denver Airport.

The La Quinta is located on Tower Road off of Pena Boulevard,
the main road off of Interstate 70 by the Denver International
Airport, a nine-minute drive or ride on La Quinta's free 24-hour shuttle from the hotel. There's not much in the immediate vicinity beyond a few other airport hotels and some restaurants -- including a Ruby Tuesday and a Village Inn -- both within a 10-minute walk. Downtown Denver is a 30- to 45-minute drive away.

The rooms at La Quinta are spacious, with comfortable, pillow-top beds and
large bathrooms with shower/tub combos and blindingly white countertops and walls. Furniture consists of wooden dressers, desks with office chairs, modern
flat-screen TVs, and coffeemakers. Some rooms have sofa beds and Suites
have extra sinks, mini-fridges, and microwave. All rooms are carpeted with busy, unattractively
patterned carpets in need of an update.

Other amenities include a coin-operated laundry room and a pair of computers in the lobby that are free for guest use.
