Although some Hilton Garden Inns can take on a slick, business-y feel, this hotel softens its sterile look with colorful drapes hanging around the lobby, a cluster of chairs around the fireplace, and teal and red furniture (rather than all uniform tables and chairs) arranged in seating areas throughout the window-lined ground floor. The restaurant/bar is tucked into one side of the lobby; the bar area is small and bright, with a granite bar top and a few high-backed wooden chairs near the open kitchen. The restaurant's seating area extends to several polished wooden tables and a lime green booth along one wall. The pool area is a no-frills operation, with just a couple of seats around it, but there is a patio area for warmer weather.

This Hilton Garden Inn is surrounded by grassy open space in southern Denver’s Englewood neighborhood, right next to the Meridian Golf Club. Meridian Business Park is less than a mile away and can be reached in less than 20 minutes on foot, or in a couple of minutes by car or on the hotel’s free area shuttle. The Meridian area also has a Starbucks, a breakfast cafe, and a 7-11. A Mexican restaurant is the nearest business, less than a five-minute walk from the hotel, while the light rail’s F-line station is about 10 minutes away. Park Meadows Shopping Mall is a six-minute drive away. Downtown Denver and its many attractions are about a 25-minute drive away, or 52 minutes on the Light Rail. Denver International Airport can be reached by car in 35 minutes.

Like most Hilton Garden Inns, this hotel's rooms are relatively uniform and basic, characterized by high-quality mattresses, white linens, and dark wood furniture with granite counter tops. The classic-but-colorless look is brightened by a yellow accent wall, framed floral paintings, and a red armchair in most. Some rooms have views of the nearby Meridian Golf Course, and the Rocky Mountains in the distance, and all have reliable free Wi-Fi, ironing facilities, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a Keurig coffee machine. Bathrooms are similarly standard: adequately sized, with long granite countertops, shower/tub combinations, and Neutrogena toiletries.
