Frequented primarily by oil and construction workers staying for several days
for a local project or by visitors who have recently relocated to Denver and
are in the process of finding permanent housing while starting new jobs, the Extended Stay America - Denver - Tech Center - North is probably the most affordable hotel in the Denver
Tech Center area. Although there is no restaurant on-site, nor much seating in
the lobby, rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with small
kitchens. A tiny fitness center, free Wi-Fi, and grab-and-go breakfast round out the features.
Scene
Bright and welcoming extended-stay suites-hotel with little communal space
Situated in a two-story building that resembles a
condominium complex, with its exterior stairs and slanted rooftops, this Extended Stay America embodies the standard chain aesthetic for suburban extended-stay hotels. It has little communal space, but the lobby is
bright and welcoming, with a single couch and coffee table, and a small, bare room with snack
and soda vending machines where the free grab-and-go breakfast is served daily.
Location
Less than a mile from Denver Tech Center, in a quiet suburban area near restaurants and I-25
Situated in a quiet suburban area off of S. Quebec St in
south Denver, this Extended Stay America is close to Interstate 25, which offers easy access to all of Denver, as well as to other major highways leading into the mountains. There are
several restaurants, including a McDonald’s and Pizza Hut, within a five-minute
walk of the hotel. The corporate offices and business parks of Denver Tech
Center are less than a mile away and can be reached in four minutes by car or 15
minutes walking. The Light Rail’s F-line is a seven-minute walk away and
downtown Denver’s 16th Street can be reached in 35 minutes this way, or in 20 minutes by car. Park Meadows Mall is a 10-minute drive away, Cherry
Creek 15 minutes, and Denver International Airport are about 30 minutes.
Rooms
Standard extended-stay chain hotel studio apartments, with modern decor and full kitchens
With fresh paint -- including a bright green accent wall -- and new beds, the apartment-style rooms here are spacious and comfortable, if standard for an extended-stay chain hotel. Each room has a small kitchen, outfitted with a
full-size refrigerator, stovetop, sink, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, pots, and
pans. There is also a small flat-screen TV in large seating area with leather
couch, as well as a desk, an air-conditioning/heating unit, and free Wi-Fi. Hardwood floors in the bathrooms make them look even newer; a sink area with towels, soap, and a hairdryer is separated from the main bathroom, with the toilet and a shower/tub combination.
Features
Free parking and Wi-Fi, grab-and-go breakfast, and small fitness room
This hotel is geared toward long-term guests and thus has few amenities apart from free
Wi-Fi access and parking. Each room is equipped with a small kitchen, for self-catering stays, and a basic grab-and-go breakfast is offered in the lobby. The hotel
does have a small fitness room with two cardio machines, a meeting room, soda and snack vending machines, and a
coin-operated laundry room that's open 24 hours a day.
