There's a large parking lot, and well-kept lawns with leafy trees and pines surround the building. A covered entryway with brick planters filled with colorful flowers leads into the lobby, a large space that includes a breakfast room and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. Decor is typical of chain hotels, with beige tile floors and wood furnishings with dark blue and red cushions. Brown floral carpeting and beige walls do little to brighten up the dim hallways, where maid carts and trash bags tend to linger.
