Hilton Dayton Beach/Ocean Walk Village is an upper-middle-range beachfront chain hotel that's across the street from the Ocean Center Convention Center. Along with business travelers, it draws families -- there's a Kidzone with organized activities and a kids' pool -- and seven restaurants and bars. The 744 rooms have somewhat dated decor, but some have balconies with ocean views. The hotel is on par with others in the area, but guests might want to check out the Plaza Resort & Spa, an upper-middle-range beachfront property with fewer restaurants but free water sports equipment rentals and rooms with mini-fridges and microwaves.
Scene
Beachfront, chain hotel with business- and family-friendly amenities
Inside the Hilton Dayton Beach/Ocean Walk Village, blue-framed windows shed light on the classic lobby, while outside a lawn with a decorative clock tower separates the hotel from the sandy shores. For dining, there are a variety of choices, including a deli, grill, steakhouse, and sports bar. On weekends, guests can opt for the all-you-can-eat prime rib, snow crab, and seafood buffet, but dining spaces have simple, cookie-cutter decor. There's a multi-sided heated indoor/outdoor pool, and kid-friendly amenities include D-Dawg’s Kidzone, a children’s center with supervised activities ranging from relay races to video games. Adults can enjoy live piano music in the Clocktower Lounge, a bar with panoramic windows or cocktails with ocean views at one of the bars with outdoor seating.
Location
Beachfront location across from convention center
The hotel is on the beach in the heart of Daytona. The property is next to the Daytona Beach Bandshell and Ocean Walk Shoppes & Movies, home to several restaurants, including Johnny Rockets, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and Cold Stone Creamery, and a movie theater. It’s right across from the Ocean Center Convention Center, and less than a five-minute walk to Daytona Lagoon, a water park with go-karts and laser tag. Dayton Beach International Airport is about a 15-minute drive.
Rooms
Rooms have somewhat dated decor, but some have balconies with gorgeous ocean views

Bathrooms have with striped wallpaper and shower/tub combos, large wood-framed mirrors and wood vanities with granite countertops, and basic toiletries. All rooms have flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, coffeemakers, and MP3 radio clocks. Some rooms have furnished balconies and patios.
