Scene

Beachside timeshare hotel

The Grand Seas Resort by Exploria Resort has a grand white exterior built in a typical Floridian design and is surrounded by well-maintained

grounds and palm trees.

Location

On Daytona Beach, a 15-minute drive from the airport

The Grand Seas Resort by Exploria Resorts is right on Daytona Beach, a 15-minute walk down the shore from Andy Romano Beachfront Park. There's a strip mall with chain shops and restaurants a block away from the hotel, while Ocean Walk Village, Daytona Lagoon Waterpark, Ocean Center, and the Boardwalk Amusement Area and Pier are all a five-minute drive away. Daytona Beach International Airport, Volusia Mall, and the Daytona International Speedway are 15 minutes from the hotel.

Rooms

Clean condos with fully equipped kitchens and lots of natural light

The Grand Seas Resort offers Studio, One-Bedroom, and

Two-Bedroom Suites, all with fully equipped kitchens complete with full-size refrigerators and dishwashers. Living rooms have flat-screen TVs and floor-to-ceiling windows, some with excellent ocean views. Bedrooms have brightly colored walls and comforters along with either flat-screen or tube-style TVs. Most bathrooms have bright walls and shower/tub combos with multicolored tiles; some have walk-in showers and separate jetted tubs.

Features

Direct beach access and lots of recreation activities plus three pools and hot tubs; resort fee

A stairwell leads directly from the resort to the beach, and there are also three pools on-site, each with its own hot tub. The two outdoor pools are large and have brick decks and lounge chairs; one has a waterslide. One of these pools has a playground with climbing features next to it while the other has a kids' pool with a boat-style waterslide. There's also a poolside Tiki Bar serving cocktails and both pools have excellent ocean views. The indoor pool is less pleasant than its outdoor counterparts and has a chipped deck and a small hot tub. Other on-site recreation amenities include mini-golf on a well-landscaped course with ocean views and a small game room with air hockey and arcade games. The fitness center has cardio and weight equipment. Note that all guests must also pay a mandatory daily resort fee, which includes resort-wide Wi-Fi.
