Scene

A stylish, contemporary hotel with plenty of places to gather

The Hyatt has a simple, modern vibe, with plenty of space to show off its aesthetic. Multi-story windows let natural light cascade down several floors to a garden atrium that includes the check-in area, guest services, and several restaurants and cafes. While the open layout allows these spaces to flow into one another, each has a distinct flavor. For instance, Centennial Cafe, where the hotel serves breakfast, has posters and photographs of Dallas’s centennial celebration along its walls. If guests don’t have time for a sit-down morning or afternoon meal, the essentials are offered at Coffee’s Post, including Starbucks beverages, pastry sandwiches, snacks, and salads. To one side of Centennial Cafe is Monduel’s, the hotel’s slick lounge bar. On the other side is Parrino’s Oven, an Italian bistro with its own wood-burning oven. Those looking for something more breathtaking need only to go next door to the iconic Reunion Tower. The tower has panoramic views of the city and includes the GeO-Deck equipped with informative, interactive touch screens, telescopes, and an outdoor terrace. There’s also the Cloud Nine lunch spot on the GeO-Deck and Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty, an award-winning fine dining restaurant.

Location

In the heart of downtown Dallas

The location of the Hyatt is hard to beat. Being located next to one of the city’s iconic landmarks makes the venue convenient for almost any Dallas tourist. In the midst of downtown, there’s a bustling nightlife outside the Hyatt's door, and if you choose to forgo one of the hotel’s several dining options, you’ll find something close by. The Hyatt is also steps away from Union Station, where guests can access blue and red DART bus lines and the Trinity Railway Express. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is about a 25-minute drive northwest.

Rooms

Large, modern, and elegant, with cohesive design elements

Guest rooms at the Hyatt are spacious and beautifully designed. Celebrating nearby Trinity River, rooms contain a stylized aerial-view print of the area with the river running through in a shimmering gold. There are Tetris-like shapes impressed into bed headboards and behind bedside tables, though this modern design touch is more elegant than it sounds. The geometric theme is translated more simply in the bathrooms, where light pours through rectangular strips along the bottom of the mirror. The rectangles are employed again in the showers as a large strip of accent tiling to lovely effect. Bathrooms are supplied with KenetMD products.Overall, the spacious, slate-colored rooms are beautiful and include flat-screen TVs, iHome alarm clock radios, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. There’s also wired and wireless Internet for a daily fee.

Features

An extensive 24-hour fitness center, a small pool, and plenty of food options

Hyatt Regency Dallas is ideal for vacationers and business travelers alike who are looking for a modern, comfortable stay in a convenient location. Beyond its extensive food options and breathtaking views at the adjacent Reunion Tower, the hotel has an expansive 24-hour fitness center that includes numerous cardio machines, weight machines, and free weights, with headphones on hand for guests. There's also an enormous amount of meeting space that can be arranged for a variety of functions, from board meetings to weddings to lectures. The outdoor pool is small, but its third floor location gives it a semblance of a view. The hotel is pet friendly.
