Atmosphere at the beach can be noisy with loud music
The 270-room Nissi Beach Resort is located a 10-minute drive from the nightlife and restaurants of central Ayia Napa, on a loud and lovely beach on Nissi Bay. Bars and restaurants at the hotel are open to the public and several have open-air dining with gorgeous sea views. There’s a big outdoor pool with a separate smaller children’s pool and a children's club and activity center. Standard Garden View Rooms are plain, and guests recommend upgrading to a Sea View Room or Beach Bungalow (these are more modern and chic) if possible. Guests looking for a more relaxing time, may want to check out the Alion Hotel, a serene spot with access to a sandy beach.
Scene
Beachside hotel with lively atmosphere
Purple and red flowering bushes, tall palm trees, and vine-covered pergolas surround pretty stone walkways at Nissi Beach Resort. Inside the spacious lobby area there is a wall of information for the week including weather, menus, and entertainment. The lobby and gardens have a peaceful, classy feel but the adjacent beach is a popular area known to be crowded and noisy during the busy season. The restaurants and bars on the beach are open to the public and some play loud music for most of the day.
Location
On Nissi Bay within 10-minute drive to Ayia Napa center
The hotel is located on Nissi Bay within a 10-minute drive to the nightlife and restaurants in the center of Ayia Napa. WaterWorld, a waterpark with slides and a wave pool, is less than a five-minute drive, and Nicosia, the capital and largest city of Cyprus, is an hour’s drive away. The resort area of Protaras, with a beautiful beach, is within a 20-minute drive, and Cape Greco, a natural park with beautiful views and swimming areas is also within a 20-minute drive.
Rooms
Basic decor in Garden View Rooms; Bungalows or Sea View Rooms are recommended
The Garden View Rooms at the hotel are small with basic decor, but the Beach Bungalows are more inspiring with stylish beach decor in blue and white and sea view patios. Sea View Rooms are also recommended (if not as upscale as the Beach Bungalows), as the balconies look out at the gorgeous hotel grounds and the sea beyond. All rooms have flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, minibars, and coffee/tea facilities. Wi-Fi is available for a fee.
