The 124-room Electra Holiday Village is a chain hotel home to a fantastic water park with fountains, several waterslides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. Located just off a rocky beach and within a five-minute drive of the nightlife and restaurants of central Ayia Napa, this hotel has an all-inclusive plan, a pool snack bar, and entertainment for kids with an animation team and outdoor playground. Spacious rooms are a touch outdated (and cleaning services have been questioned) but they do have kitchenettes. Couples looking for a more grown-up hotel may want to consider the Napa Plaza Hotel, which isn't on the beach, but has a variety of bars and restaurants and fewer children.
Scene
Chain hotel near the beach
Flowering bushes flank the paths between pale yellow and terra cotta colored buildings at the Electra Holiday Village. The exterior is scenic, with a walking path that leads beyond palm trees and down to the rocky beach area where guests can take in the views. The lobby is a simple space with high ceilings, tile floors, turquoise couches, and a bar. The hotel has an unfussy, comfortable feel, though there is some noise from children excited about the pools and water park.
Location
Near other Holiday Villages and within five-minute drive to Ayia Napa center
The hotel is located near two other Aqua Sol Holiday Villages within a five-minute drive to the nightlife and restaurants in the center of Ayia Napa. It's a two-minute walk to a small rocky beach, or a 20-minute walk to the sandy Nissi Beach. WaterWorld, a water park with slides and a wave pool, is less than a five-minute drive, and Nicosia, the capital and largest city of Cyprus, is an hour’s drive away. The resort area of Protaras is within a 20-minute drive.

Features
Big pool, water park with slides, fitness center, and children's entertainment

A multi-lane slide and a big tube slide are among the water slides at the park, and a children’s play area has a play structure and a small pirate boat slide and seesaw. The hotel has a sauna and a small fitness center with treadmill, stair stepping machine, and hand weights. The colorful children’s club room has plastic picnic-style tables for doing crafts, and outside is a playground with plastic slides and monkey bars. An animation team provides daily entertainment for children. For dining and drinking, the hotel has a buffet restaurant, pool snack bar, and an indoor bar serving cocktails and coffees.
