Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel

The Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel is a relaxed adult-only property, with plenty of activities but no super-energized staff staging pool games and karaoke nights. Rather, this is a resort for grown-ups, evidenced by the dress code required for dinner and the pool bar tables sporting linen tablecloths. The ambience is relaxed yet upscale -- with welcome drinks offered upon arrival, fresh fruit-infused water available in the lobby, and cold towels distributed on the sundeck in the afternoons. 

Many area hotel beaches are pure rock, but the Asimina Suites has a man-made beach of both rock and white sand, plus a pier jutting past the surf for easier access to the water and romantic dinner setups. The property is one of the top hotels in the area, but the evening entertainment can be dull and predictable. The large pool deck is outfitted with plenty of cushioned sunbeds and beach umbrellas, or guests can claim a lounger in the pretty garden area beside a fountain. Many visitors -- almost exclusively couples -- choose to stay put for the majority of their time here, but the town's restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance.

The Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel is located on a private man-made beach outside Paphos City, along a main road lined with resorts and hotels. There are shops, bars, and restaurants within a 10-minute walk of the hotel, or both cars and bikes can be rented on-site. Guests can walk along the promenade to the center of Paphos City in about 35 minutes, or it's around a 10-minute drive. Paphos Harbor is a seven-minute drive or about a 25-minute walk, and the Medieval Castle is a half-hour walk from the resort. Aphrodite Waterpark is a seven-minute drive, and there are four golf courses within a 10-minute drive of the hotel. Paphos Airport is a 20-minute drive away, and Larnaca Airport is a 90-minute drive. The hotel can arrange transfers to and from both airports for a fee.

The 110 suites at the Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel are bright and airy, featuring a neutral-tone color palette and dated wood furnishings. Comfortable beds have tan and blue bed runners and are under light-blue-and-white swirl-patterned wallpaper. Rooms either have wooden floors or dated blue carpeting, and living areas come with beige sofas, work desks, frosted-glass room dividers, and landscape artwork. All rooms are air-conditioned and have furnished private balconies; guests have a choice of sea, mountain, or side-sea views. 

Bathrooms are striking, with goldfish-hued marble walls and floors, walk-in showers, and separate tubs. Designer toiletries and hairdryers are provided. Some bathrooms have spa tubs. Standard amenities include nightly turndown service, Nespresso makers, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, DVD players, minibars, and laptop safes. Rooms come in three configurations: Junior, One-Bedroom, and Executive One-Bedroom, and Executive Suites have private pools with lounge chairs on their terraces. Adjoining rooms are available upon request.

The Constantinou Bros Asimina Suites Hotel doesn't stint on the amenities. It has a man-made private beach, with sunbeds and umbrellas, as well as private cabanas that can be rented for a fee. It also has a pier for easy swimming or romantic dinners. There are two large outdoor pools at the center of the resort with a wide sundeck lined with loungers and umbrellas. Cool towels ad frozen fruit are often distributed poolside during the hottest part of the day. The adjacent Pool Restaurant is furnished with comfy wicker armchairs and cloth-covered tables, and serves an a la carte lunch and snack menu throughout the day, as well as cocktails. The free breakfast buffet is abundant, and guests can sit either indoors or outdoors. Kymata restaurant serves a Mediterranean menu in an indoor fine-dining setting, with additional outdoor seating under the shade of beautiful old trees; reservations here are highly suggested and men must wear pants at dinner. The hotel has three bars, two with live entertainment in the evening, and a Sports Bar with a pool table and big-screen TV. 

The Elixir Spa offers a full menu of spa services, facials, and Eastern-style bodywork in a zen-like setting filled with bamboo, Buddhas, fresh orchids, and gold leaf accents. There is an outdoor treatment area available upon request, in addition to a hair salon. The fitness center is spacious and bright, with large windows and several wall-mounted TVs, plus up-to-date cardio and weight training equipment, balance balls, and more. There are also an indoor pool with spa jets, a steam room, and two saunas -- one reserved for nudists. The hotel's tennis court is lit for night play, and both bikes and cars can be rented from the hotel. The lobby shop is stocked with souvenirs and sundries. Wedding services are available, including ceremonies along the beach. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
