The Devonshire shopping centre -- with a book store, clothing shops, and restaurants -- is in the same building as the hotel. The Penrith Castle and park -- near the train station -- is a six-minute walk away, while the Alhambra Cinema is 28 minutes by car. The Aira Force waterfall is a 24-minute drive. The Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre -- with a wide collection of birds -- is a 13-minute drive away. An ancient stone circle, Long Meg and Her Daughters is an 18-minute drive from the hotel.
