Scene

Friendly, small, simple hotel

Hotel Telesilla sits directly on a main street of Kontokali in a busy area. Behind the white lampposts on the sidewalk and peach outer walls, the lobby has a lounging area with rust-orange couches and a television. Black bookshelves divide the area from the elegant restaurant and bar area with orange walls and wooden tables and chairs. Just up a few steps from the side street entrance is the lovely pool courtyard open to the public where vines climb up walls and gorgeous orange flowers hang down from a balcony. There’s a snack bar here, and at night, the area becomes an outdoor dining area when tables and chairs are placed around the pool. Entertaining live music and dance shows are performed on select nights. The atmosphere is relaxed and even romantic, enhanced by the friendly, warm staff.
