Its 128 guest rooms are all fully outfitted apartments -- with everything from washing machines to full kitchens -- but the hotel also offers all the standard perks like an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, sauna, and bar and restaurant. The ferry terminal is just next-door, the Opera House is nearby, and the city center is a 10-minute train ride, or 15-minute bike ride, away.
Scene
Modern, residential apartment building with colorful lobby and trendy restaurant
Housed in a tall, brick building that most resembles a high-rise cluster of apartments, the Adina Apartment Hotel Copenhagen greets guests with a bright and airy lobby that feels a bit like a living room, with book shelves, comfortable and stylish leather couches and chairs, an open fireplace, disco-ball-inspired lamps, and colorful artwork. Considering the apartment style of the rooms, guests don't need to lounge in the lobby, but the area is pleasant and welcoming, as is the colorful courtyard patio. Otto’s restaurant is similarly colorful and trendy, with a red theme running through its painted hanging lamps and banquette.
Location
In up-and-coming residential area near East Dock, 10 minutes by metro from the city center
Adjacent to the Copenhagen ferry terminal and within a 10-minute walk of the National Arena and Opera House, the Adina Apartment Hotel is set in a quiet neighborhood currently undergoing a lot of development. The buildings surrounding the hotel are mainly modern residential apartment blocks, with a few shops and restaurants on the ground floors, and a small supermarket at the end of the block. The city center and its attractions are about five minutes away by car, 10 by train, or 15 by bike.
Rooms
Fully stocked apartments with private balconies
There are 128 rooms at the Adina Apartment Hotel, from studios to three-bedroom apartments, which are outfitted like private apartments. All are spacious and modern, with dark gray walls, red furniture, light-wood accents, and loads of sunlight. The studios have fully equipped kitchenettes -- with a sink, coffee and tea facilities, and dining table -- while the one-, two-, and three-bedroom units also have ovens, stoves, microwave, and dishwashers. The larger rooms also have a washing machine and tumble dryer. Bathrooms are modern, if a bit small, with limestone tile and a walk-in rainfall shower; higher-tier rooms also have a bath tub. All apartments have a private balcony, flat-screen TV, air-conditioning, stereo, minibar, and safe. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms for an extra fee, as is restaurant delivery service.
Features
Heated indoor pool, fitness center with sauna, restaurant, bikes to rent
The Adina Apartment Hotel offers a wide range of features in addition to fully outfitted apartments. The indoor pool area has floor-to-ceiling windows and a whirlpool tub, as well as lockers. The small but bright fitness room is well-equipped and also has a sauna. Otto's restaurant serves fresh Italian cuisine and an extensive wine list in a trendy, colorful dining room; breakfast is served in the restaurant, but is not included in room rates. There are a number of meeting rooms that can be rented out. Bicycles are available to rent, and there is parking, but it's run through an outside company and can be expensive. There's free Wi-Fi, but only in the lobby.
