This GHT is a large, budget hotel with an all-inclusive option located a short walk from a nice beach. While amenities such as a small spa; two large pools; free Wi-Fi; and kids’ club are all great perks, rooms are dated and poorly soundproofed, and there are myriad pesky fees. Suites, however, are contemporary and feature small kitchenettes (no hobs, though), and terraces complete with a whirlpool. Those who want to sit by the pool may want to wake up early, as there aren’t a ton of loungers.
Scene
A large hotel popular with families
The GHT Oasis Park & Spa is a large hotel part of a chain with nine other properties in Costa Brava. Its L shape allows for pool views from many rooms and common areas. The lobby is a long, bright space with blue ceilings resembling the sky (clouds and all); a big, curved front desk; a few vending machines; a bar area; and a small business center with two computers. The hotel is always busy with couples and families, but the vibe here is somewhat mellower than at other Lloret de Mar hotels.
Location
A five-minute walk from the beach, and near restaurants and bars
The hotel is located on a narrow one-way street lined with restaurants, bars and souvenir shops. There are many other hotels in the area, and it can get busy at times, particularly during the summer months. Fenals Beach -- somewhat quieter than Lloret’s main beach -- is a five-minute walk away. Girona-Costa Brava Airport, served mostly by low-cost airlines, is a 25-minute drive away. Barcelona can be reached by car in just under an hour.
Rooms
Rooms are clean -- but dated and lacking in soundproofing.
The hotel features 447 rooms, including Standard Rooms and Suites. All units are clean and most feature a balcony furnished with two plastic chairs and a table -- but Standard Rooms are in need of an update. Decor is dated, and amenities (small flat-screen TVs, a couple of soap bars, and little else) are subpar for a hotel that advertises itself as a four-star property. With terrazzo floors, thin patterned bedspreads, and basic, old-fashioned furniture, rooms are quite underwhelming. Most bathrooms are small, with either a tiny shower with a plastic curtain, or a tub.Families and groups staying in the same room should note that all rooms are the same size, but can sleep between two and four guests, making quadruple rooms tight and a little uncomfortable. Suites, however, are more spacious and contemporary, with bright accent walls, more stylish decor, and better amenities, such as microwaves, mini-fridges, and a whirlpool on the terrace. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, but there are a number of pesky fees, including for use of mini-fridges for Standard Room guests, and for use of in-room safes.
Features
Solid amenities include a small spa, three pools, and a kids’ club.

The spa is small, but access to facilities is free for all guests. Treatments are available for a fee. The hotel also offers a few parking spots in an off-site lot at an extra charge.Guests can book rates that include breakfast, half board, or full board.
