From the road, Atenea Park Suites Apartaments is nothing to write home about: its a rather drab looking four-story building. The interiors, however, are more welcoming with a homey atmosphere. The lobby is simple with a few seating areas, including large gray sectional sofas with bright yellow throw cushions and contemporary floral artwork hanging on the wall above the sofa. Outdoor areas are simple, with the central swimming pools (including a kids' shallow pool) surrounded by sun loungers on either the lawn or tiled area and the occasional tree and umbrella. The hidden away playground is small and mainly appeals to young children. The restaurant and bar area isn't fancy, though it's clean and provides an enjoyable spot to enjoy a meal either indoors or outside on the terrace. The apartment-style rooms attract both families and older couples, and it can get quite busy during the high season -- some guests complain about noise.

Antenea Park Suites Apartaments is located in the coastal town of Vilanova i la Geltru, a quaint tourist town known for its beautiful beaches and good food. Atenea Park Suites is ideally located a two-minute walk from Ribes Roges Beach, as well as within close walking distance to many restaurants, bars, and shops. It's a 10-minute walk into the center of town, and 11 minutes on foot to get to the Yacht Club and harbor. The area has a wide range of museums, including: Victor Balaguer Museum (seven-minute drive), the Catalonia Railway Museum (nine-minute drive), and the Museo Romantico Can Papiol (12-minute drive). It's a 45-minute drive to the city of Tarragona and a 55-minute drive to Barcelona. The Vilanova i la Geltru Train Station is 17 minutes on foot or via public transport. The nearest bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the property. Barcelona-El Prat Airport is 35 minutes by car or an hour-and-a-half on public transport.

The 102 apartments at Atenea Park Suites Apartaments are spread across four floors and have either garden, street, or sea views. Each apartment caters for between one to four guests. Interiors are modern and minimalist with light walls, floors, and linen and brown wooden furniture -- there's little else in the way of decor. Apartments are spacious with separate bedrooms, a living area with sofa bed, lounge area, bathroom, and fully-equipped kitchenette with a mini-fridge, microwave, stovetop, electric kettle, and cooking utensils. Amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, desks, safes, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms include a shower/tub combo covered by a half-glass wall, hairdryer, and house-brand toiletries.
