The look of the hotel is a bit dated and skews towards old-fashioned details like white rocking chairs and lace doilies, but the overall effect is welcoming (and many guests note, particularly clean). Philadelphia's International airport is a closer drive to the hotel than the airport in Newark, New Jersey.
