Scene

A small hotel that is popular with budget-minded families and couples

SeaCoast Inn is a small, two-story, gray-colored hotel
with free parking. The lobby has light tan wooden
furniture and a maroon-and-tan
carpet. The interior hallways have a similar design with maroon-and-tan carpets, tan wooden doors, and pale eggplant-colored wall paneling.
Adjacent to the small lobby is the breakfast area which has a long counter top and a couple of large windows. The breakfast area has five or six small round
tables with antique-style chairs that are more often seen on the patios of a coffee
shop. The clientele of the hotel varies but many are families and couples, and some solo and business travelers.

Location

Within walking distance of Hyannis Harbor and Main Street, and a short drive to beaches

One of the best aspects of the SeaCoast Inn is its
location. The Hyannis Harbor is only a four-minute walk from the hotel and has multiple
ferries to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyards. Guests can also find whale
watching and dolphin tours in Hyannis Harbor. Furthermore, Hyannis Harbor
Tours, Inc. is located across the street from the hotel and offers ferries to
the islands, deep-sea fishing, and sightseeing tours. For those wanting to
check out the beach, Veteran’s Memorial Park Beach is a six-minute drive away
and Kalmus Beach is eight minutes by car. Similarly, Main Street is also four
minutes away by foot and has multiple shopping options, casual and upscale dining,
and entertainment options. For those wanting to utilize their kitchenettes,
nearby is the Mini Food Mart on Main Street, a five-minute walk away, and Willow Tree Market
is only a seven-minute walk away. Lastly, there is a small park directly
behind the hotel.

Rooms

Fairly spacious rooms with the option of a kitchenette

At SeaCoast Inn guests have the option of booking rooms
with a single king-size bed or rooms with two beds, one queen, and one double-size
bed. The rooms have tan wooden floors, headboards, and furniture, as well as maroon curtains, chairs, and velour maroon comforters. All rooms have closets
or closet cabinets and flat-screen TVs, and some have desks. Rooms that have
kitchenettes are larger and include mini-fridges, microwaves, two burner-stove
tops, sinks, and small kitchen tables. Rooms without kitchenettes have just mini-fridges and microwavse. Bathrooms are small and have
little counter space, though they do have a shower/tub combos and hairdryers.

Features

The hotel sells ferry tickets to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket; it also offers beach accessories and free breakfast.

This hotel provides beach towels, bags, and accessories and toys for
kids to use on the beach. Other items that guests can use include beach chairs
and ice chests. The ice machine is conveniently located in the same room as the beach accessories. Also in this room is an on-site washer and dryer that guests can use for free. All guests
have access to a free continental breakfast in the morning, though it does not
have a lot of variety. SeaCoast Inn sells ferry tickets to Martha’s Vineyard
and Nantucket in the lobby and has numerous other brochures to guide guests on
things to do locally. Lastly, guests can use the computer and printer in the
lobby, an extra perk to the free Wi-Fi found throughout the hotel.
