Scene
Heavily wooded campground popular with families and nature lovers
The Villaggio Odissea is
an expansive campground in a wooded area that's surrounded by tall
pine trees and Mediterranean brush. The property isn’t highly
manicured, but has a rustic and natural look that enhances the authenticity of the camping experience. There's a front desk area in a small detached building just next to the property's large parking lot, but it lacks seating and is really just for checking in and out. Like most of Italy's many beachside camping villages, the Odissea attracts families, couples, and groups of friends looking for an affordable back-to-nature experience.

The WWF Oasis Bussento Caves are a half-hour drive away and the Bay Infreschi takes about 40 minutes. The Velia Ruins are 50-minutes away and both the statue
of Christ the Redeemer (Cristo Redentore) and the Pollino
National Park take about 90 minutes to reach. Naples and the Naples Airport are two and a half hours from the property by car.

All have contemporary built-in wood furniture in the bedrooms, large windows, kitchenettes, small dining areas, air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs,and covered porches that look out on small grassy areas. Bathrooms have faux-pine floors and walls, along with tiny shower stalls and bowl sinks. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property and extends to the mobile homes. Guests are charged a cleaning fee after checking out.
