A small, mid-range hotel that’s been owned and operated by one family for several generations, the Hotel Mare offers a great location with easy access to both the water and the restaurants and shops in the historic center of Agropoli. A colorful restaurant offers beautiful views of the water in addition to traditional Mediterranean dishes and a free buffet breakfast. There's also a small lobby bar with a television and a fireplace. While the property is located right next to the water, there is no private beach available, but the outdoor pool includes ocean views (partially obstructed by a fence) and a large patio for sunbathing.

The Hotel Mare looks fairly simple and unassuming from the street, but the lobby is bright and contemporary, with modern seating and decor, plenty of natural light, and a large front desk where guests can check in and get information on tours and the local area. There are several additional seating areas beyond the lobby, as well as doorways and stairs that lead to the outdoor garden, pool, guest rooms, and restaurant. A small bar is also located off the lobby, decorated with vivid blues and wood, and there's additional seating a small lounge with a fireplace.

On the water, with access to many nearby attractions
This property offers a great location for leisure travelers, since it’s right on the water and has beautiful views but is also walking distance to the historic Old Town section of Agropoli, with plenty of dining and shopping options. Although there are many conveniences nearby, Hotel Mare is in a quiet section of town on a small street, giving guests privacy and peace. The hotel is also a short walk to the train station, and includes free parking. Towns and attractions within driving distance include the Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Velia, and the Cilento National Park.
